3.1 Phillip Lim
3.1 Phillip Lim is one of the few that swayed away from the array of the stripes trend this season and opted for graphic paneling and printing.
This is the most feminine collection I have ever seen by Phillip Lim. I think it is refreshing to see a super feminine collection at New York Fashion Week. I really like the color palette. It starts off black, navy, and white, then the teals and oranges pop out of nowhere. It was a really nice surprise. You can see the collection below.
I don’t think anyone can get enough of 3.1 Phillip Lim. He is one of the best in the business when it comes to minimalism. When doing minimal, tailoring is your best friend and each piece has just that, clothes that are sewn so well to flatter your body.
The graphics this season are just great. Seeing the comic prints is just so refreshing. There are, of course, some great outerwear as well. There is their classic baseball jacket and zip blazer (above), that would have to be my favorite look from head to toe from all the Pre-Fall collections. Everything is just right about it. You can check out some of the looks from the collection below.
Fergie was pictured arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles after being in New York City to attend Avon’s Foundation For Women Voices For Change Awards Gala.
Fergie wore a pair of DL1961 Waxed Emma Leggings in Wick with a 3.1 Phillip Lim Static Bead top and heels. I love these jeans but I honestly can’t imagine that the sweater was very comfortable for the flight? The sleeves are fully covered in metal beads that stick out! I hope she took a first class seat or she might have kept poking the person next to her, ha ha! You can read my review on DL1961 here.
