Rockstar Jewelry is an exciting line of accessories to compliment the Rockstar brand and the famed denim collection that quickly has become a staple for celebrities and the fashion-savvy consumer. The jewelry line launches with an assortment of 40 to 50 pieces including rings, earrings, bracelets, leather wraps and necklaces.
In true Rockstar fashion, the collection of jewelry comes with all the flair of rock & roll style to look every bit the icon that the name promises. With bold statement pieces, the line mixes unique semi-precious stones, authentic leather and gold plated materials. The semi-precious beads are all natural and non-treated consisting of distinctive stones, such as onyx, agate and aventurine that are each different from the other. The leathers are also non-treated for an authentic look that sits comfortably on the skin.
The edgy designs also feature an underlying theme of spiritual symbolism. Each stone used in the line has a bit of history behind it and attributes thought to be used for their healing properties. For example, it is believed that onyx can free you from negative feelings and aventurine is thought to be a healing stone. Some of the pendants in the collection are engraved with words like rock, soul, honor or unity, which follows Rockstar’s mission statement of “Its what’s inside that counts.”
Key pieces include a leather wrap that can be worn as coiled bracelets or a necklace. The natural leather is wrapped around a gold-plated steel base mixed with gold or silver skulls in between. The leather is incredibly soft and can be adjusted to wrap 4 – 5 times around the wrist or twice around the neck. The wrap closes with a magnetic clasp embossed with the Rockstar logo. This style will be available in vibrant colors like pink, green, blue and gold in addition to basics like black and white. Another key piece is the pearl and coin necklace, a strong piece that combines black lava pearls with a rhodium coin pendant. The pendant is embossed with RockstarÔÇÿs mantra on one side and an antique coin on the other.
All of the Rockstar jewelry is packaged in a Rockstar box with their signature zippers lining the bottom. Pieces will retail from between $40-$200, maintaining a standard of sophistication while keeping with an affordable price point. Already celebrities like Audrina Patridge, Victoria Justice, Randy Jackson and rockers like James Durbin, Tommy Lee and Slash are already fans. In addition to top boutiques , the line is available at www.rockstarsushijewelry.com and also you can check out images at www.rockstarsushi.com.
For this weeks 3 different outfits, 1 pair of jeans post I chose the Paige Premium denim braided shorts in Mojave. I’ve been obsessed with these shorts and the Lou Lou’s for a while but they seem to be sold out in my size everywhere. I think denim shorts are really versatile, you can wear them during any season and they can look different all the time. Buy these shorts here at Coggles.
For the first outfit above I chose a simple and easy to put together outfit involving a hot trend of the moment, crochet. I picked Xhilaration tavia crochet sandals from Target, a crochet tank top from Delias, a rhinestone anchor necklace from Target, a Bijoux heart anise je swarovski crystal ring from Net-A-Porter, a brown floral bar bag from Miss Selfridge and a wooden bangle set from Topshop. Pretty much all of these items are affordable and the outfit is perfect for casual days.
For this outfit I chose something a little more Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale style with a Haute Hippie baggy grey tee, some Steve Madden watchout wedges, Ray Ban aviators, silver and black bangles from Dorothy Perkins and a black Mulberry Alexa satchel. I love the look of this outfit because it has more of an edge to it and isn’t as girly.
This last outfit reminds me a lot of a Kate Moss ensemble. It’s definitely more rock chick and darker than a light and girly look. I picked a Rick Owens biker jacket, a sequin tank top by ADAM, a Zoe & Morgan swallow mask ring from Superette, Guiseppe Zanotti black suede fold over boots from Bluefly and a grey Balenciaga bag. I have always liked the leather jacket look with shorts but you can always choose the faux leather jackets if you prefer as I find them more movable and animal friendly, not to mention they are a lot more cheaper! Topshop do a wonderful selection, I own about 3 of them in different colours.
Claudia Schiffer was seen yet again dropping her children off at school in London, England while wearing her MiH Marrakesh flared jeans in Danny wash. I think Claudia honestly looks amazing in these jeans so I understand why she’s wearing them all the time.
She always manages to keep her outfits classic and elegant as well, I love that about her. Not to mention she is absolutely gorgeous. I wonder if we will see Claudia in another pair of MiH jeans? Perhaps a pair of their skinnies? I think she would look hot in the Breathless skinny. Buy these jeans online at MiH Jeans.

This weeks review is on the MET Xfit 360 Super Stretch jeans/jeggings. I got sent these from the brand from their Spring/Summer 2011 collection and I am in love with them!
The wash of these is actually my favourite part of them. It’s a pastel/chalky/dusty blue and it has so much life to it! Normally with jeggings they come in the classic washes but MET took it a step further with these. The wash actually reminds me a lot of a Diesel wash with the chalky effect over the bright blue fabric, it’s really pretty and it makes the jeans beautiful in their own right, you don’t need to rely on an outfit to spruce them up.
The fit is one of MET’s classic fits, the Angel skinny jean. The Angel is a low rise, skin tight, thicker waistband cut and it’s really flattering. I own a few pairs of MET jeans now and I have to say these are the comfiest ones I have. They are just so stretchy and hugging that they do feel like a really well made pair of jeggings. Normally MET jeans can be quite tight and restricting but these aren’t at all. I can happily wear them around all day and still be comfortable.
MET can be known for their over the top aesthetics on jeans but this pair won me over because they kept them so simple. They are completely plain except for the little MET tag on the top of the pocket. For a jegging/super stretch jean as well, I have to say they are really quite structured. They are not so thin that they don’t do anything for your shape but they are not too thick either. They are the perfect balance in between which still looks and fits like a great pair of jeans but they have that extra added comfort and move-ability to them.
Elle MacPherson is already a huge fan of the brand and owns multiple pairs of their jeans and I do understand why. I have a few pairs now too and they are a really well made Italian denim brand. I reviewed their faux leather skinny jeans a while back as well, which you can see here. Those are also another favourite of mine.
