Cult Australian fashion label ksubi, toast the long awaited return of their coloured denim range, with a short film directed by Australian director Daniel Askill. kolors is a fume-fuelled, slow-motion battle between three colour-clad models and a trio of ÔÇÿ80s muscle cars.
With the ksubi team securing the very last sets of limited edition coloured tyres by Kumho available in Australia they then enlisted Askill and his team at Collider to fuse the vivid smoke with the spectral denim range. Models Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Cisco Gorrow and Heidi Harrington-Johnson act as modern-day matadors to the rumbling Ford’s that attempts to hunt them down while the girls soar above the cars to an operatic soundtrack.
Shot next to Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport in barren industrial wasteland that car fanatics converge on after dark and with a Phantom camera, Askill captures each and every denim movement and smoke billow at 1500 frames per second.
Ksubi was credited with creating the coloured denim trend back in 2004. The coloured denim will be available in maximalised kolor dyes in white, blue, orange, green, black, purple, red, plum, aged blue, aged green, aged yellow, aged black and aged pink, sold back with your favourite unisex ksubi classic t-shirt prints. Ksubi kolors are available in our most popular fits for men in the ÔÇÿChitch’ and ÔÇÿVan Winkle’ and women’s ÔÇÿSuper Spray On,’ Super Skinny’ and ÔÇÿSuper Skinny’ short.
I think the video is really good and the opera music to go with it is perfect. The yellow pair I think have to be my favourite so far! Which Ksubi Kolors do you love?
Ashley Tisdale and her mum Lisa (not pictured) were spotted out and about in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California a couple of days ago. They spent the time shopping at some boutiques and getting coffee at one of Ashley’s favourite places, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
I adore this look on Ashley! I have a thing for crochet knit tops at the moment, I find them to be so cute and summery! Ashley paired her top with a pair of the Wildfox Heather shorts and leopard print boots. We saw these shorts on Vanessa Hudgens at Coachella last month. Maybe the pair bought them together on one of their shopping trips. Buy these shorts at Singer22.com.
Christina Aguilera and her son Max were seen leaving their Midtown Hotel in New York a couple of days ago. I know Christina has gained a lot of curves since last year but she is still bringing out her old leggings.
This time she chose to wear a pair of Robb & Hugo denim leggings, the same pair we spotted her in back in July last year. The good thing about leggings is they are very forgiving and so stretchy. I have always liked the marble tone to these as well, it’s very pretty. I know it’s been in the media a while about her new curves but what do you think? I think as long as she is happy and healthy that’s all that matters, she still looks good. I’m glad to see the stick thin look is not in fashion anymore, it made those who were naturally curvy really ill.

I decided to make a post on the versatility of a good pair of jeans. If you find the premium denim price range just that stretch too far, this post can help you see how you can wear them as a staple part of any outfit you choose, from day to night and see how much of a good investment they are. I chose to use a classic pair of J Brand 910 skinny jeans in Ink for these outfits which you can buy at most places online and in store. They will last you for forever and not fall apart like some jeans do.
The look above is something I would wear during the day for running errands or a trip to the park etc. It’s also a look that a lot of celebs favour. The sandals mixed with the cardigan and a cross body bag. The outfit consists of a JW Helm mini legacy bag from Barneys, a Crumpet Cashmere cardigan from Net-A-Porter, Forever 21 studded sandals and AV Max skinny bangles from Lespommettes. I know some of these items are pretty expensive but they help give you an idea. You can find similar items at H&M, Gap etc for much cheaper prices.
This outfit is one I would wear for a dinner date or a night out. Something sophisticated and smart but it’s still kept slightly casual enough with the mix of the jeans. This look consists of a Stone Drape blazer from Dorothy Perkins, Capecoral nude heels from Aldo, a Christian Louboutin Mini Loubi satin clutch from and Elizabeth & James Madeleine silk corset top both from Net-A-Porter.
This is a look I would wear for day time but also one that can be worn in the evening. It’s more of a smarter and chic feel to a day time outfit. This look consists of a cream knit sweater from Topshop, a Mulberry Alexa satchel, Gucci suede Karen boots from Bluefly and a Beaded Trim layered necklace from Forever21.
