Zac Efron was seen running some errands in Los Angeles, California yesterday. I know there are rumours going around that Zac might be dating Rumer Willis and there are other rumours saying he is back with Vanessa because he was seen arriving at her house a couple of days ago. I guess we will wait and see what happens. It would be nice if he and Vanessa did get back together though.
Zac was sporting his new hair cut which he got for his new movie ‘The Lucky One’ with his Balmain Homme pants. Zac also wore The T by Joe’s Maxx Henley top. He really seems to be fond of these pants as we have blogged him wearing them a lot in the past few months. They seem to be the only pair we catch him wearing. What do you think of Zac’s haircut?
I have always had a love for Diesel from the very beginning, they are a brand that really know what they are doing when it comes to fabric, quality and fits. My review this week is on a pair of Diesel Staffy 8W7 that I bought for myself as an early Christmas present.
Since I got these jeans, I have already worn them loads. Diesel actually makes up most of my collection, I think I have in the region of 30-35 pairs from the brand and most are in the Matic cut, followed by Lowky. Those 2 cuts used to be my favourites until they changed the fit of Matic and made it bigger in the calves and smaller in the waist. I also kind of grew out of the Lowky cut because of how low rise it is. It was really refreshing for me to try a completely different cut that I had never tried before, I took a chance buying them online and it worked out very well which I am over the moon about. It’s always hit and miss with online buying.
The Staffy cut is a skinny boyfriend fit with lower down back pockets. It’s very tapered at the ankle and slim fitting in the calves. I find it to be pretty slim all over to be honest but it has that boyfriend feel to it because it’s slightly loose. The rise is quite high but it’s designed to sit on the hips so the crotch drops down a bit rather than being fitted. Unlike most of my jeans, these also has a button fly which is different, but I like it. Although I got a 32 leg, these definitely run shorter than that and fit me more like a 30-31 inch inseam. I also got a 28 which is my normal size in Diesel and they run true to size.
One thing I always love about Diesel jeans is the unique details they add to their jeans, they always add pretty buttons and cute patches on the back, random stitching and sometimes fabric inside the hem line. They really care about the tiny details that make their jeans so special. This particular pair has a silver sequin patch as you can see in the photo. I have had pairs with crystal buttons and patterned lining too.
This particular pair was made in Romania and not Italy. You can tell they weren’t made in Italy because they have no Italian flag stitching on the back like most Diesel jeans do. People have always assumed they all have the Italian flag stitching but only the jeans that were made in Italy do. I learned that a few years ago. I find where they are made to actually have no impact on the jean itself though, these are wonderful and so are a few of my other non Italy made Diesel jeans.
The main reason that I actually bought these jeans was purely because of the wash. When I first saw it online I was mesmerized by how much character it has to it and how beautiful it was. I have always been looking for the perfect pair of medium to light washed jeans with the right detailing and depth. These definitely fit that criteria. The wash is just gorgeous, it’s one of my favourite washes that I own, I think I like it even more than my 81M Matic and that is really saying something!
For a while, Diesel, for me, went a bit off track with their washes. They went quite extreme with the patterns and faker looking washes. When I originally fell in love with Diesel it was when they had the most amazing washes out like the 81M, 772, 61X, 71L, the first run of 71J and a few others. The washes were incredible and attracted everyone to the brand. For a little while after, they just weren’t the same, and now they seem to be doing the best washes again. I’m really happy about that but I don’t think my bank balance will be! If only they would release 61X again! It’s too stunning for words.
Sorry for the incredibly long review but I had to share with you my love for the brand. You can buy these jeans at Diesel online for £110 by clicking here.
We just showed you the brand Nine in the Morning and their Iconic Collection, here is a look at the Natural collection. I love the jeans in this collection a lot more than the previous one, the washes are beautiful and they are completely natural!
It is the breath of the trees. It is the colors of Nature. It is the colors born of these places. It is The Natural Morning: Nature, perfect to wear.
In the new The Natural Morning collection, conceived by Umberto Vendramin, the concept of sartorial style, marries the bio mood giving life to garments that are totally environmentally friendly. The jeans are created exclusively from organic cotton that may be recognized by each woven thread. It is the hand of Nature that renders these creations so precious; the denim is dyed in its most authentic colors thanks to the exclusive use of natural indigo dye. Water based agents, pumice and the knowing hands of artisanal artists enrich the weave with delicate nuances. The intention is to add nothing to the purity of the organic cotton, not even the rivets that are omnipresent in denim garments. The only added detail is the natural coconut button, perfect in its simplicity. The Natural Morning marks a return to roots that go beyond jeans; this is seen also in the jute used for the shoppers, a material that evokes long lost tactile sensations.
Style can be lived and worn in these jeans dedicated to the woman who sees in her choice of garment an ethical choice in addition to an artistic one. The signature of this style is the range of wearability The Natural Morning offers: essentials like the elements of Nature, design the body with an instinctive harmony, heralding a whispered and never banal elegance.
The cuts are like this: Skin sensation: low waist, super skinny leg. Velvet Sensation: at the waist, straight leg, bottom-up effect. Endless Embrace: at the waist, boot cut leg, very slight flare. In Italy, The Natural Morning collection will be available in stores from next season.
