Twilight star Kellan Lutz is returning to his modeling roots as the face of the Dylan George and Abbot + Main by Dylan George Fall 2011 campaigns, alongside supermodel Anne V. Shot by famed photographer Yu Tsai, at a sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills, California, the shoot captures the aspiring and inspiring lifestyle of Hollywood’s elite and fashion-forward.
Also adding designer to his stacked resume, Kellan Lutz has teamed up with Dylan George founder, Danny Guez, to design a ready-to-wear menswear line, Abbot + Main by Dylan George. The line, launching Fall 2011, is a Venice Beach-inspired 25-piece collection of t-shirts and knitwear ranging from $44.00 to $178.00. Abbot + Main is the perfect compliment to the men’s Dylan George offerings.
To coincide with the release of the campaign and celebrate the launch of the Dylan George and Abbot + Main by Dylan George Fall ’11 collections, Kellan Lutz will make a special appearance on Thursday, August 11, at Nordstrom at The Grove in Los Angeles. Customers who make a purchase of Dylan George or Abbot + Main by Dylan George, now through August 11th, will have the opportunity to attend the private event from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and have their photo taken with the Twilight star.
What do you think of the campaign? It’s very sexual and racy so I couldn’t include all of the images that were taken but here are some that are not as risque!
Live Life Love Denim is a new Los Angeles based contemporary denim line which will feature innovative styles for men and women. The line is set to launch this Fall and uses the coveted Japanese premium denim for every jean. Women’s styles feature skinny fits with color combinations like pastel pinks and blues as well as coated denim in hues of olive and rustic red for Fall. I think their moto is pretty cool; who doesn’t Live Life … and love denim? What do you think of the new brand? I love the waxed jeans in red, really hot!
Actress Kristen Stewart got herself into a minor accident in Hollywood, California earlier in the month. She then exchanged information with the other lady involved and emptied her Mini Cooper before the damaged vehicle got towed. I’m glad she’s ok and able to walk away from it!
Kristen was wearing a very washed and worn out pair of BDG skinny jeans with some sneakers and a simple grey tee. I always find her outfits to be the most casual possible, I don’t feel like Kristen makes an effort much, not even at some events but the look seems to work for her and look good. Do you like her style?

Diesel have brought out a brand new hybrid jean which just became available today called the Jogg Jean. I know Diesel are always experimenting with denim, bringing out extreme washes and ideas etc and their latest plan was to cross a jogging bottom/sweat pant with a pair of jeans, which created the Jogg Jean. They sent these to me last month so I could model them and be part of their website creation for the Jogg Jeans along with some other bloggers but I wasn’t allowed to post about them for a while. The website feature will be released in the beginning of August.
I was very unsure about these at first, I thought to myself, how can you cross a jogging bottom and a jean and actually make it wearable or look good? But they did. I was really suprised. Since I am shorter and not blessed with long legs, I decided to make these cropped and pulled them up to my calves and rolled over the waistband so the crotch wasn’t dropped as low and I think that makes them work a lot better for my body shape. The Jogg Jeans have a super high rise so if you wear them at your hips, the crotch falls at mid thigh or lower for the harem pant look.
I can’t say that these are the most flattering pair of Diesel jeans I have tried, because they are not, but I can say they are definitely the most comfiest pair I have ever ever tried. I can easily wear them all day around the house or I could even sleep in them, they are literally that soft and comfortable. This wash also reminds me a lot of the Dirty Thirty wash they brought out as a limited edition jean a long time ago, I’m not sure if you remember that jean but it’s quite similar with the little tadpole style holes and patches at the thigh.
The thing I find most intriguing about these jeans is trying to find clothes to pair them with. I don’t think they would look very good with heels or dressed up really girly and smart as they don’t have that look to them. I think the way to go is casual or quirky. They do run huge though, I am usually a 28 in Diesel and I took a 26 in these and they still fit loosely but that’s due to them also being crossed with a jogging bottom. I can definitely see a lot of people wearing these hybrid jeans, I think we will see a lot of unique outfits consisting of the Jogg Jeans! You can now buy these pants online at Diesel for ┬ú180.
