Actress Julianne Moore was seen hailing out for a taxi while in New York City. I always think it’s great to see celebs doing regular things like this.

Julianne wore a pair of Current/Elliott Stiletto skinny jeans in Grey Leopard for the day with a darker grey sweater, black boots and an emerald green bag. I’m not overly crazy about the whole outfit, but I do love these jeans so much! I’ve worn mine so many times! LOOK BOOK: Havoc Denim Winter 2012

Here is a look at the brand new Winter 2012 Look Book for Australian children’s brand, Havoc Denim. They have lots of bright colours and fun pieces here for the little ones to wear. I have included some information from the brand about the collection and you can see the items in the gallery below.

Australia’s freshest denim label for kids is reeking havoc on winter wardrobes with kids fashion that will brighten any dreary day. LOOK BOOK: Level 99 Fall 2012

Here is the new Fall 2012 Look Book from Level 99. They have loads of colour in jewel tones, coated denim and even laser printed denim in their classic styles. I love the printed pair above and I think Level 99 actually did a really good job with their collection for Fall 2012.

I wont say too much about it, as you can clearly see the new styles in the gallery below, but they do have some really cute pieces that are very on trend (like the houndstooth, snake and rich coated colours), plus Level 99 never break the bank! You can get fashionable jeans for a more affordable price!

Kodenko Jeans Fall 2012 Twill Preview

Here are some photos of the new twill style pants for Fall 2012 from Kodenko Jeans. They have some bright shades in turquoise, red and purple as well as the classic colours of black, navy and grey, all for the guys. I think twill is such a comfortable fabric, it’s really soft and nice to wear so it’s never restricting. What do you think of the new styles guys? Would you wear them?

Triarchy – New Denim Brand

Triarchy is a brand that is new to us here at DenimBlog.com. They recently showed at Toronto Fashion Week and it looks like they have some really pretty styles! The high rise skinny red pair above would be my favourite from the collection, although I like the metallics too!

The brand was started by 3 siblings in 2010 and they launched the label last year. They are based out of Vancouver, but they do all of their production in Los Angeles, California. Triarchy is carried in retailers in Canada and is planning to branch out into the US as well. They have also been featured on an episode of America’s Next Top Model, so I think they are a brand to watch out for. Hopefully we spot them on some celebs!

J Brand Autumn/Winter 2012 Press Day

Here are some photos of the new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection from J Brand. I saw the new styles in London during the press day at Somerset House and I completely fell in love with a lot of them! J Brand are a brand that loves to go all out on their jeans and pants and they definitely didn’t disappoint for Autumn/Winter 2012.

My favourites would definitely have to be the pair above. I think the circular tie-dye print is absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely love to add those to my collection when they become available! Other pairs that stood out to me were the skinny pants in the image below because they have circular buttons at the ankles. I originally had this idea for my Paige Denim collaboration as I love buttons like that, but unfortunately it wasn’t the right time to do it.

They also had 3 jeans with velvet tapestry print on them in red, blue and gold (image 1, 2 and 3). I thought those were really cool, but a little too ‘out there’ for me. They had a jean which featured a mix of denim and leather with ankle zips (image 9). They have also brought out a brushed metallic jean (image 7) and a pair of suede pants with streaking all over them (image 11).

The famous J Brand leathers are in more Autumn/Winter appropriate shades, they also had jewel tone cords, a classic blue jean with distressing (image 13) and one of their new inventions (image 10), which is a new super skinny/super stretch pant. They feel like a wet suit actually, they have that thick elastic high stretch material and they are supposed to form to your body and not stretch out at all. Much like a super thick legging does, but in a jeans form with back pockets etc.

I have also included 3 men’s photos, which are the last 3 in the gallery, but they didn’t have much that really stood out. Their men’s collection was quite simple and basic, much like the previous seasons, although they did have a mini houndstooth print and a very whiskered blue wash. Those were the only two that really caught my eye. They do have some cargos, twill pants and regular denim, but that’s about it.

I also saw some of the ready to wear pieces for Autumn/Winter 2012, but I am not allowed to show those yet unfortunately, but I did fall in love with a very beautiful scarf and jacket! When I am allowed to share them with you, I will update this post with the images. So what do you think of the new J Brand Autumn/Winter 2012 collection?
