I got the chance to be a stylist and a model for the day with ASOS magazine. I had to style an outfit for under £200 using ASOS clothes from their website. They liked my denim outfit and I was selected. They then asked to see photos of my personal style (which are in the gallery below and are of course mostly denim). Finally they asked me to take part in their reader stylist shoot and I couldn’t believe it! I went to London in mid July to the shoot and selected a couple of outfits from the rack of ASOS clothes. I then posed for photos with the model I had styled for the 2 page feature in ASOS magazine. It was amazingly fun and I can’t thank ASOS enough for this wonderful opportunity. I included some behind the scenes photos taken from my cel phone and a couple of other photos taken on the shoot as well (I will update with those when they get here). I am also wearing Dylan George Lucy Jeans in Czar wash, which you can purchase by clicking here. You can read the magazine online by clicking here, the reader stylist is on page 112.

I am absolutely in love with the new styles from Paige Premium Denim! The sleeveless denim jacket is hot hot hot! I think that will be a sell out, the ankle zippers are perfect, the cute little jackets, the pretty shorts and not forgetting the classic jeans as well! Paige has gone all out with this new seasons collection and it’s rare I can actually say I love every single item but I do. PPD, Paige’s mens line, has also had a revamp and now has skinny cuts and slim fitting cuts in a range of hot washes for the guys. After 5 years of Paige Premium I have to say this is her hottest collection yet! Here is some more info from the press release on the Spring 2010 line:
Paige Denim is turning over a new…pocket. With the denim house’s fifth year underway, Paige Adams-Geller has officially made her mark as the expert on fit, fabric and finish. To celebrate this milestone, Adams-Geller has designed the spring collection with a renewed sense of flare that takes form in new pocket designs, innovative washes and a cut for every kind of personal style.
This Spring, Paige Denim unveils a wide range of denim fashioned with fit in mind and design at the forefront. “Men and women around the globe know that our jeans are tailored to flatter many different body types due to our unique and often top secret fit techniques,” says Adams-Geller. “Now that we’ve made our mark, we can’t wait to branch out in to new design realms.”
From Penelope Cruz’s classic boot cuts to Blake Lively’s slashed and torn skinnies, Paige Denim is proud to offer a shade of blue for every kind of taste. Here are spring’s brightest stars:
Vermont Vest: Paige’s classic denim jacket gets its arms ripped off, leaving frayed edges and one heck of a cover up.
Villa Short: Spring has sprung so show of those legs in Paige’s shortest and most flattering summer cut to date.
Brigid Top: An asymmetrical denim shirt that updates the classic look with a marbled wash and pearl snaps.
Lou Lou: Spring’s most beautiful flower is surely the Tulip cut a classic rise, five pocket jean that stays skinny through the calf and blooms in to a flare just above the ankle.
Layne: The tomboy jean is here – a slouchy skinny with men’s back pockets and a girl fit.
Scout: Skinnies are getting skinnier and Paige’s blues are getting longer with this 10” cut that scrunches for a dramatic ankle effect.
Debonair: Get dressed up in blue in Paige’s new trouser cut with an ultra skinny leg and ultra flattering slanted front pockets.
Seaside: This collection of marbled and tie dyed washes is available in the ultra flattering Skyline Ankle Peg and comes in a range of pink, purple, blue and tan.
Just right click when you have selected a gallery image and press view image, you will see it in high res.
Penelope Cruz cruised through Heathrow airport, London, wearing her Citizens of Humanity wide leg jeans again. The hems of these jeans seem to be really chewed up now, I wonder if she just uses them as comfort jeans for traveling/running errands? They are very flattering on her petite figure though.
