This weeks review is on a pair of 7 For All Mankind The Skinny leggings in Garnet. I’ve always had a thing for maroon coloured denim and when I found these online at 7 For All Mankind, I fell in love.
The reason I like these so much is because I trust 7 For All Mankind when it comes to fit and comfort. I have a couple of pairs of their Gwenevere in the gummy denim and I thought it was time to try their new cut, The Skinny. Comparing this cut to the Gwenevere, these are definitely longer on the inseam and the rise feels a little bit higher. The pockets are also plain and don’t have their signature squiggle design. I prefer the Gwenevere to these, only marginally, but that’s because I prefer the shorter inseam. Other than that, they fit pretty much the same and are just as comfortable.
The wash is a beautiful, deep red, it’s a lot like a maroon colour and it’s really warm. The shade has a Christmasy feel to it because of the warmth it gives off. There are marble undertones to it as well, the marbling is a shade of brown and it gives the jeans a lot of character. They are not plain like a lot of coloured denim is. The detailing is what makes them so unique in my opinion. I love the wash so much because of the two tones to it. Coloured denim is something I am a huge fan of but unfortunately I don’t get to review many pairs of.
I took a 27 in these, which is my normal size in their gummy denim leggings. I vary between a 27/28 in their normal jeans but always opt for my smaller size when it comes to the leggings as they are so stretchy. They definitely didn’t get it wrong when they named this cut The Skinny though, they are definitely super skinny all the way down and really flattering. I would honestly recommend these if you want a pair of deep red jeans with a depth and character to the wash. Buy these jeans at 7 For All Mankind for only $99.

Elle MacPherson was snapped by the awaiting paparazzi as she was leaving The Ivy restaurnt after having dinner with Gabriel Byrne in London, England. Elle was then driven home in a private car, while Gabriel decided to walk instead. Elle was of course wearing her MET Eco Pelle leather look jeans with a jacket and a scarf.
I always find Elle’s outfits to be consistently fashionable, she wore a very close outfit to this one last time though. I do love her style, she knows how to work different trends. I just can’t get over how Elle has managed to style these different each time she has worn them, and she has worn them a lot, ha ha. They are her favourite jeans of the moment. You can read my review on these here.

Maria Menounos posed for photos on the Coke Zero Black Carpet at the Madden Bowl XII in Grapevine, Texas a few days ago. Maria wore a pair of the J Brand Kiki high-rise wide leg jeans in Lotus for the day and paired them with a faux fur coat. I’ve not tried the Kiki cut but it looks really nice. Maria also looks incredibly beautiful, I love her hair.
I definitely like her outfit a lot more without the coat. The navy and white striped cardigan is a much better option to go with the jeans in my opinion. It suits her a lot more. I find you can never really see a persons figure when they wear the big fluffy jackets and coats, it always makes them look top heavy. Buy these jeans at J Brand for $203.
Jamie Lynn Sigler was spotted out last weekend wearing a pair of DL1961 Premium Denim Nicole jeans in Onyx. Nicole is the skinniest full-length style that DL1961 offers and it looks amazing in black! Jamie’s outfit is very casual but it’s cute. Tucking the jeans into taupe coloured boots and pairing it with an oversized sweater is a great look.
I’m always looking for the perfect pair of taupe boots but I can never get any that fit my calves properly as I need a really slim fit. I’m also constantly looking out for a super skinny pair of black jeans which are comfortable at the same time. I may need to opt for a pair of black DL1961 jeans now after seeing how these fit! You can buy these jeans and others at DL1961.com.
