Carmen Electra was seen doing some shopping at the Westfield Mall in Los Angeles, California over the weekend. We don’t often get to feature her on DenimBlog, so it’s great she’s wearing denim!
Carmen wore a pair of JET Skinny Jeans with Ripped Knees, which she paired with a leather biker jacket, Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers and a studded bag. I feel like the jacket is too bulky for this outfit, so I would prefer it without, however if Carmen chose a v-neck tee instead of the roll neck, I think it would have looked better too! You can buy JET Jeans online at Singer22.com.

I’m never the type of person to conform to a season, simply because I love wearing bright clothes. When it comes to winter, I’m not going to pack away my bright denim and opt for black and dark blue as my jean choices. I know a lot people tend to favour dark colours in the winter time as when I am out, it’s all I tend to see. Black and navy coats, black and indigo jeans etc. Instead of dressing gloomy and dark to match the weather, I tend to counteract it and opt for bright shades and prints instead. It really lifts your mood and makes you feel better, in my opinion anyway. If you are confident enough to do it, then you should! I always smile if I see someone with a bright pink coat in amongst all of the dark ones, it’s such a nice change!
In this post, I have listed 20 different jeans to brighten up your winter wardrobe! These include florals, metallics, abstract prints, subtle prints and of course, plain colours. I have also included some photos of myself in printed denim so you can get some styling tips for winter if you need them! Click this post to see everything!
There is a new Green Jean in town! Created by the eco-friendly, exclusively made-in-the-USA apparel brand Dirtball, these comfortable and creative jeans are made from cotton and around 8-10 recycled water bottles which have been re-purposed to create a high-quality cotton and polyester denim. How cool is that? When I first heard about this denim, I was thinking how can they turn plastic bottles into denim? But they have and it’s really inventive and amazing! They are the only jeans on the market that are both sustainably produced and made-in-the-USA.
Dirtball Founder Joe Fox launched his Kickstarter campaign to bring his eco-friendly jeans to the masses. Fox needed to raise $40,000 from backers and early adopters, and gave anyone the opportunity to become a part of bringing these jeans to the market by purchasing a pair on The Green Jean’s Kickstarter campaign page for just $85! The campaign was a success and they are now sold online! Not only do these jeans benefit the environment utilizing recycled materials and create jobs by producing the product entirely in the United States, but they look and feel just like a pair of regular denim. I think this is such a great idea to help save the earth and be eco-friendly! What do you think?
