Check out this new line of designer denim…Bread Denim. The New York times did an article about this startup line straight from L.A. yesterday. These are designer jeans that are made in the U.S.A. by an entrepreneur who knew he might not succeed among all the other designer lines out there.
We went into this knowing we could fail
He stuck to his guns and now his jeans are becoming the hottest new thing! Gotta love someone with passion for denim! Bread Denim does skinny, straight, and relaxed fits. Jason Ferro left Guess to create Bread Denim on a mission to make denim his own way. We can’t wait for their 2008 line! When the skinny jeans trend first started, we thought to ourselves, this trend will be so over in NO time and had no intentions of buying any since we tend to stick to styles with more staying power. But our predictions were way off, since we are going into Fall and skinny jeans are still hot! For fall and winter we are seeing more skinnies being worn with oversized sweaters & jackets as if they were leggings – the tighter the better (as long as there’s no muffin top ladies!) Now we guess we need to break down and get some skinnies finally!

Sometimes you just gotta have that hot new bag or accessory to complement your hot designer jeans, right?! What’s big in accessories for Fall are bright metallics, like this Kooba silver mirrored bag for $825 at ShopBop. We are also seeing a big silver theme in shoes, belts and other accessories too! Love ’em or hate ’em?
It seems the new trend in jeans super wide-legged styles and even bell bottoms, yes BELL BOTTOMS, like in the 70’s…. are all the rage! We are loving these wide legged jeans from J brand.
