Another fashion house had an array of crops walking down the runways this season for the men. But then again, what season has Junya Watanabe not sent crops down. They sent pants in many fabrications from wool, corduroy, and of course denim.
This collection is one of my favorites. I love the Icelandic-knit sweater. What I love about Junya Watanabe each season is that there is always a ’20s dapperness combined with other inspirations in all the looks. For this collection the other inspiration I see is the Irish countryman. You can check out some of the looks from the Fall 2011 collection below.
Emma Roberts was spotted doing some shopping at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, California. She chose a pair of black cropped jeans by Current/Elliott. Emma seems to love her Current/Elliott jeans. She has been spotted in them numerous times and they all look great on her. Current/Elliott really do make amazing jeans so I cannot really blame her for wearing them all the time.
Emma looks so young when I see her. I still cannot believe sometimes that she is just a few months older than me. I guess it is a compliment that she looks young. It means that she will probably look 20 when she is in her 40s, I guess. You can click here to purchase Current/Elliott jeans at ShopBop.
Jessica Alba was spotted feeding the parking meter to prevent getting a ticket in Los Angeles, California. Though paying the meter, it didn’t prevent Jessica from getting a ticket. Knowing what she did wrong, Jessica was all smiles as she picked up the ticket in her denim motorcycle jacket by Domino.
We haven’t spotted Jessica in this jacket for quite some time. She seems to love pairing it with a printed dress as well. She was spotted the last couple of times wearing this jacket with florals. You can click here to read Lorna’s review on this jacket.
Casual seems to be the other trend that is at Men’s Fashion Week this season. Edun just released the photos of their new Fall 2011 collection and there was a easy cool about each look. Edun did keep their aesthetic of their inspiration from the person they know best, Bono. I can see Bono doing many of his philanthropic work in all this clothing.
Most of the denim and to-die-for sweatpants were kept slouchy and baggy. They also have a pair of overalls (above) that I seem to like, but I think it may be due to the unhinged straps. The styling is really great though, that is what I find most appealing about this collection. As well as the gray, black, and pale blue color palette. Just very easy and comfy.
