The new Dsquared² men’s collection walked earlier this week. I have to say that this is probably my least favorite collection that they have sent out. It looks very ’80s with the color combination mixed with the styling of some of the looks. Individually I think each piece is great.
I like the denim leather jacket (the one without the hoodie). My favorite look out of the whole collection would have to be the one above. I think the jacket is cool, the sweater is perfect and the drop-crotch of the jeans even work for me here. I also like the look of the orange trousers with the purple belt. I’m usually not a fan of orange. I actually think the color is pretty gross, but somehow I really like them here. Weird how styling and fit can change a thought that I never would have thought would ever happen. You can check out a few of the looks below.
Heidi Klum was caught leaving her hotel in New York with her daughter Leni. Yay! They must be taping the new season of Project Runway. Heidi wore a pair of Work Custom Panther shorts in Olive Oil. I think this is such a great summer look. The color scheme is really great. I love all the beige, tans, and greens together. I’m so happy the weather is warming up.
I still get amazed about the look of Heidi’s tattoo. It is so well done, simple, and clean. I also like that there is a little dramatic look to it, but it is not in your face. Click here to purchase these shorts at BlueHeavenBoutique for $188.
Kate Bosworth was spotted out in Silverlake, California with a friend. She kept her devotion to Isabel Marant and wore a pair of the pink shorts again. I would like to see Kate in the lace-up pair or the graffiti jeans. I wonder how she would wear those? The graffiti jeans that is.
Kate just seems to be favoring pink right now. She recently stepped out on the red carpet in a pink Richard Nicoll dress and let’s not forget all the sweaters, shorts and shirts in the shade. I do think it is a great color on many. It is one that just goes with many skin tones.
This is another great collection I have been in awe over. I love all the silk foulard printed shirts an shorts (minus the denim waistband). I never would ever fall for print or color, but I have. The line of course feature tons of denim like it does each and every season.
I’ve been noticing a trend in this show as well as the Chanel Resort show that recently showed. They featured denim waistbands. I can’t say I am a fan of the look. They have a resemblance to ombre jeans but in an awkward way. But that aside, I’m still a fan of these looks. The prints are just too great. You can see a few of the looks below.
