Kate Moss was caught outside her hotel in Paris, France to make her way to walk the Louis Vuitton show. She wore her two favorite brands, a pair of white leather Isabel Marant pants from the Fall 2010 collection with some Balmain boots. I think the pairing of the two is a bit awkward looking. Or maybe her pants need to be more fitted?
Marc Jacobs recently stated that Kate offered to close his show this season again, which she did. He also said that he would love to turn it into a tradition and do it each season. I am happy to hear that Kate is wanting to return to the runway. I would like to see her walk some more shows like Marant, or McQueen as well.
Another French fashion house that was inspired by the sea this season was Chanel. The brand that many lust over. This season some looks were airy and others were structured. Karl Lagerfeld also featured some looks that were worthy of his couture collection with all the detailing that was featured in them.
The detailing this season mimicked the the grooves and the natural beauty of the color that that they have. That didn’t mean he left the blues out either. There were looks that had marine blue incorporated. What is a marine theme without blue? It also had classic Chanel pieces in the classic Chanel fabric, tweed. The detailing didn’t just end in the clothing itself either. The shoes featured an urchin shell as the heel. I can never get enough of Givenchy. The styling (though crazy at times) and the cuts are just beyond impeccable that it just amazes me. Every single piece that Ricardo Tisci designs is sure to be it no matter what it is. They always have that classic feel to them. There is always that Audrey Hepburn vibe each season. I can see her in the looks from the fashion house that she favored. No matter how moody the looks can be.
For the Spring 2012 Collection Ricardo Tisci was inspired by surfers. The looks had exotic oceanic skins, the accessories came from the sea as well, and the hair was styled into the perfect beach waves that every girl envies to have. The cuts mimicked the look of body suits and seaweed moving with the waves. All sleek and perfectly cut. The shoes this season are just to die for. I think it is time for the clean sandal to come back. These are sure to be popular like many of the other Givenchy heels in the past. They are simple and will work perfect with all the Spring looks this season. You can click through some of the looks from the Spring 2012 Givenchy show below.
Here is a look at the new Mugler Spring 2012 collection. This is probably the most wearable collection that Nicola Formichetti has put out. The looks in this season look not just wearable to Lady Gaga, but to many other celebrities. The dress would look great on many, there is just a sleek sexiness to it. What do you think of the new collection? You can click through some of the looks below.
