Kanye West was caught leaving Bar Pitti Resturant in New York. He wore a pair of army green Balmain Homme motorcycle jeans. It’s been a while since we have spotted motorcycle jeans. I still think they are a great style, being that they were probably the only new styles introduced in recent years.
At first I thought these were a pair from the women’s line, going by the ankle-zipper, but noticed that the fly folds over to the left so they are from the men’s line. It’s cool to see that many brands are starting to introduce ankle-zippers into men’s styles now. I have always thought they add some more versatility to jeans. You never know when you need a slit.

IRO has just launched their new E-Shop on their website. I found their clothing to be one of the hardest to hunt down and am so happy that they launched their own shop online. Everything is at my fingertips now. Another thing that is great about the new feature on the site is that it is for both the men’s and women’s lines. You can click here to check out the new online store now.
Armie Hammer graced the cover of the October 2011 issue of Details Magazine. He donned The Jake Jacket in Clip by AG. This jacket is really great. I just love the wash of it. It seems like dark washed denim jackets are getting more popular. I think though, when they are dark, some fading is needed. A clean one can be a bit harder to pull off.
AG really knows how to do their dark washes though. The Stella wash is just great (I think that might be my next purchase) and Burroughs-Dark Blue wash is another that is great. The Burroughs-Dark Blue comes in their Slant Shirt and it is just amazing. It is dark, yet so versatile. That is another AG item that I think will be in my closet soon. You can click here to purchase the Jake Jacket from the AG website for $195.
I am happy to say that I was able to attend the Douglas Kirkland Photo Exhibit to celebrate 180 years of the Woolrich John Rich & Bros. brand at Ron Herman in Los Angeles, California.
The exhibition featured 18 photographs of images inspired by the history of Woolrich, including Brenden Fraser and Elle Fanning (who attended the event) to name a few. All of the photos are amazing and of such inspirational figures. I also love that there was an inviting feel to them by just looking at them. The event was really amazing overall. You can click through the images below to see the event and some of the photos yourself.
