For this styling post I decided to choose the Ksubi Van Winkle jeans in Wild Dog (click here to purchase) for the men. I thought choosing black would be a great choice so I can add a print or different texture to the looks without it looking busy. For the two outfits, I went for casual looks for both Winter and Fall.
The first look, I’d say, is the Winter look. Each look revolves around the jeans, but when I saw these Opening Ceremony shoes I was trying to figure out how I can incorporate them into an outfit and still add different textures without it leaning towards a mess. The only option I could think of was to keep it monochrome. I didn’t want to pair the jeans with just a plain t shirt as I wanted to break up all of the black, so I chose this Tailgate Clothing Co. t shirt. To add some interesting detail without going overboard, I chose this Alexander McQueen coat as the combo of the leather and wool, I find, plays really well with the jeans and shoes.
For the Fall look, I wanted it to be casual and still be a look that you don’t have to change out of if you decide to go out for a dinner. I also didn’t want the look to be monochrome, like the previous. I paired the jeans with a J. Crew cardigan, Tailgate Clothing Co. t shirt, and some Opening Ceremony Desert Boots. The boots and cardigan together help smarten the look up, but being that it is a cardigan, you would still look comfortable. Like always you can click the names of each item to purchase them for yourself.
It is great to get another sighting of Cheryl Cole. I remember a couple of years back when she would constantly make back-to-back appearances here on DenimBlog. I always liked that she was open to bolder styles and has a great style sense in general.
She was spotted in a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Cooper Jeans in Olive Camo while making her way into the BBC Radio 1 Studios with her fellow band mates in London. When I saw her in these jeans, my first thought was “I cannot think of anyone else better suited for them.” The details of the zippers along with the camo print are perfect for her style. You can click here to purchase these jeans at SINGER22 for $228.

Rihanna was spotted wearing her favorite combo of her James Jeans Couture Skinny jeans in Vesper with some Timbs and a cool jacket in New York. This time she opted to pair the jeans and boots with a jacket from Proenza Schouler.
I am happy to see the Fall 2012 pieces from Proenza finally out on some people. That was my favorite collection by them, it had such an innovative and sleek feel. Hopefully we will see Rihanna in more of the pieces, like their quilted sweater, with her denim. You can click here to purchase these jeans from the James Jeans website.
Kanye West was one of the few guys that we got frequent sightings of this year in denim. He was caught in everything from denim shirts to double denim to white denim. One thing they all had in common is that all the looks were brought back into style by the fashion maven himself.
Please vote for your favorite Kanye outfit in the poll below. When we say favorite, we mean his whole head to toe outfit, not just the jeans he’s wearing. If you hover your mouse over each gallery image, you can see the number assigned to cast your vote. You can also vote in the other celebrity polls here.
