AMAZING! Is all I can say about the Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 show. Sarah Burton puts out the most intricately designed art pieces, yes, I said ART, not clothing. They are just too breathtaking and beautiful.
The collection this season was inspired by sea life. You can see the texture of corals, barnacles, and crustacean in the clothing itself. It was not literal, but it was apparent. Though inspired by the sea, the dark romanticism didn’t leave, the soul of the fashion house was definitely prominent. There was also some classic McQueen aesthetics that were incorporated, like bondage. There was a sense of Catwoman too, but that goes along with bondage. You can click through some of the looks for the collection below.
Shenae Grimes made an appearance at the launch party for the new Just Dance 3 game in Los Angeles, California. She wore a pair of the Black Orchid Black Jewel Skinny jeans in Cranberry. I like that she opted for a colored pair of jeans by another brand. J Brand and Rag & Bone have really stolen the spotlight from everyone else when it comes to the colored jeans.
I love that t-shirt. I think this look is great from the ankles up. The shoes aren’t bad with it. I just think a classic pair of ankle boots would have worked better. That is Shenae though. She never looks too put together. There is always something a bit off with her looks, but it works for her. You can click here to purchase Black Orchid at Singer22.
Ashley Olsen was caught making her way back into her hotel in Paris, France. She wore a pair of her custom fitted Earnest Sewn Jeans in Daija. Ashley must have taken these back from Mary-Kate. She has been seen in these jeans for the past few months.
I like this look. It is very simple, yet chic at the same time. I like the off-white cardigan against the black. I also like the pop of color with the shoes. They are a great shade of brown and the length of the jeans just fit them perfectly. You can click here to purchase Earnest Sewn from their website.

Feathers, cut-outs, pastels, more feathers, horses, white, even more feathers and the return of Kate Moss were all over the Spring 2012 Collection of Louis Vuitton.
The collection was the complete opposite of the darker colors of the past, but one thing that will never change about Vuitton are the looks looking nothing less than pristine. You will never see one that is off from this fashion house, ever. This collection was a lot more whimsy than the previous. There were flower cut-outs and even an illuminated dress. The line just lit up the backdrop just being worn by the models. You can click through the collection below.
