Artisan De Luxe is a new brand that seems to be getting more notice everyday. Earlier this week the brand launched their first billboard on 847 La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The billboard was shot by renowned fashion photographer Philippe Bialobos at a private estate in the Hollywood Hills. The campaign embodies exactly what Designer Philippe Naouri has said about the line, “The line highlights how art influences the American look; it is authentic and cool. Each piece is unique with its own personal hand-crafted feel. We made sure the billboard captured just that,” and I agree that it did. It showed what the brand does best, quality denim with an artisanal touch.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted on the set of Transformers 3 in Culver City, California. She was once again wearing her Rockstar Sushi Denim Leggings for the taping. It looks like these are the jeans that Rosie is going to wear throughout the film when it is released. What do you readers think of these jeans? I find them to have a bit of an awkward look because they don’t have a fly flap.
I wonder if Rosie will be walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year? It looks like the taping of the movie is starting to get gruesome again.
Superfine is probably one of my favorite denim brands when it comes to innovation. They always push the denim spectrum with new silhouettes with each collection.
For this collection Superfine was inspired by the trend for spring, the ’60s and ’70s. Superfine made sure to keep it modern with the silhouettes by featuring the earthy color palette with the trends of today. You can see their interpretation of the patchwork trend combined with the waxed trend and their popular swirl jeans as well have been interpreted in a new way. This time they have chains wrapping around the leg. You can check out some of the pieces from their look book below.
