Here is the look book that I look forward to each season, IRO. Like the seasons prior, Fall 2012 is perfectly tailored, always French, and always chic. Their classic pieces were reinterpreted with prints, different skins, and the detail that they cannot go without…SEQUINS.
Gone this season is the heavy distressing. You can find their classics such as knit sweaters, slouchy and skinny jeans, perfect cut outerwear, and leather covered in prints and/or color. This is another collection that IRO hit right again. They are pieces that are timeless and pieces that you want more of. You can see the full collection below.
Levi’s Made & Crafted has combined one of the biggest trends of this season, Ombre, with their Empire fit. If you don’t know about their Empire fit, it is a tapered skinny jean with a 9″ mid-rise.
These come in four cool color combinations to choose from. There is the Apple (above) that starts off as green and gradually fades into a cream tone. This one is very reminiscent of a Granny Smith Apple. There is the Lilac that starts off as lilac (obviously) on the top and gradually becomes Periwinkle at the bottom. There is the Mustard that starts off as a bold, you guessed it, yellowy mustard and becomes a paler shade of yellow. The most versatile out of the four is, I think, the Red Ombre. It has a really rich red at the top and fades to an ashy washed out red at the bottom. Which are your favorites? You can click here to purchase all these styles at Net-A-Porter.
Here is a closer look at the Aggy Leather Pants from the new J Brand RTW collection. It is a super skinny high-waisted style with ankle-zips going all the way up at the back of the calves. I find the details to be really amazing! Something that I can even see being sent down the runways in Paris. Fashion Week is coming up and I hope to see some of the editors and stylists wearing these.
What I like about the J Brand RTW line is that the pieces are always edgier than their main line. The pieces still have the clean lines and tailoring, but there is always that extra detail that makes them stand out amongst any other pair of leather pants, sweater or shirt. You can click here to purchase the Aggy pants for $1525 from the J Brand website.
Cameron Diaz was spotted leaving a studio in Los Angeles, California. I wonder if she is doing voice over work or if she is doing another animated movie? For the session, she wore a pair of Current/Elliott The Boyfriend Shorts in Dayglow Pink.
I like that we are still getting neon sightings here and there. The Dayglow wash by Current/Elliott has to be one of the best neon pinks, along with the AG Neon Pink. They are ones that just glow like neon should, even during the day. How many of you readers are still wearing your neon jeans out? You can click here to purchase these shorts ON SALE at SINGER22 for $106.40.
