Katie Holmes was spotted out for some beach fun in Malibu, California with daughter Suri. I absolutely love this look on Katie. I think she should wear this vibe more often. It is casual yet not too casual to the point that she should be kicking back on the couch. Just enough laid-back cool to it.
She wore a pair of Current/Elliott Mini Mini shorts in Dust Destroy. I think these are some great shorts on Katie. I love that they are loose, but fitted. In other words…they are not giving her saggy bum. Though I wonder how much fun she is having walking around in those heels. I think she should have worn some flip-flops. Heels are not the most practical choice for the beach.
Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted out at the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu, California over the weekend. I just love Alessandra’s style. She has the body, as well as the personality, to wear many things without looking like she is trying.
Like pairing a bright pink scarf with a pair of the Wildfox Friday Night Shorts in Aqua. Both are very vibrant on their own and I think that maybe on someone else, it would look contrived. But Alessandra pulls it off with ease. I also like that she kept her accessories simple and in the taupe family. Though, I do think some nude sandals would look better than the flats. You can click here to purchase these shorts from the Wildfox website for $157.
7 For All Mankind hosted the Gen Art Film Festival Launch Party at their flagship store in Soho, NYC last week. The event was hosted by Lake Bell (wearing The Skinny in Black) and had guests such as Anna Chlumsky (in The Roxanne in Paradise Cove) , Yolonda Ross (in The Ginger in Lightweight Mercer), and many more. Attendees were entertained by the music being played by DJ Vida as they mingled. When I first read the guest list of the event, I was like ” OMG! Anna Chlumsky from My Girl!” I have not heard much from her lately. My Girl is such an amazing movie and if you haven’t seen it, you have to check it out. You can check out images from the event below.
