3.1 Phillip Lim is one of the few that swayed away from the array of the stripes trend this season and opted for graphic paneling and printing.
This is the most feminine collection I have ever seen by Phillip Lim. I think it is refreshing to see a super feminine collection at New York Fashion Week. I really like the color palette. It starts off black, navy, and white, then the teals and oranges pop out of nowhere. It was a really nice surprise. You can see the collection below.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted catching a flight back into the states late last month in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She wore a pair of faded black Sass and Bide jeans with a pair of black Isabel Marant Betty Sneakers. I like that she chose the Betty pair. They are my favorite that Isabel Marant has designed, especially the tan pair that Kate Bosworth has worn many times.
I really like that Rosie joined the sneaker trend. I was sure that she would wear these and wear them well. These jeans also fit her really great. It is nice to see her in a looser skinny style. You can click here to purchase these jeans at YOOX for $198.
Here is the Fall/Winter 2012 Elizabeth and James collection. For their first Fashion Week presentation the looks were refined, more refined than the usual casual refined take that I find in Elizabeth and James clothing. The clothing is still amazing. Like every season, it gets better and better each time.
There are many great pieces this season, especially the outerwear. The jacket above is so sick. I love the combination of the two different fabrics. The parkas are also favorites of mine. You can never go wrong with a parka in the cold weather. My absolute favorite piece though is the silk pajama shirt. I cannot wait for this one to come out. Pajama shirts are so amazing. You can wear them in other situations besides sleeping now. You can see the collection below.
Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of the new March 2012 GQ issue with her Wanderlust co-star Paul Rudd, shot by Terry Richardson. She wore a Pierre Balmain skirt in the shot above. It is interesting to see a denim skirt now. The style hasn’t been seen on anyone in a while.
I love this cover. It is so different than what is usually put out. The shoot itself is great too. Jennifer and Paul look like they were having so much fun. I also cannot wait to see Wanderlust. It looks so hilarious. You can click here to purchase this skirt at LUISAVIAROMA for $260.
