Florence Welch made an appearance on Good Morning America late last week. She wore a pair of Levi’s cut-offs. I never would have thought that Florence would wear as much denim as she does. It is definitely a staple that I think everyone should have.
I like this look a lot. It is Woodstock, but doesn’t look dated. Maybe it is the way that Florence carries herself. She has that “Drew Barrymore” personality to her that allows her to try many looks without looking like she is trying. You can click here to purchase Levi’s shorts from UrbanOutfitters.
Finally a sighting of Zac Efron! He hasn’t been spotted in a while. Zac was spotted out at lunch in Los Angeles, California. He wore his favorite pair of jeans at the moment, his WeSC jeans. I like that when Zac gets a pair of jeans he wears them over an over. It shows that he is more normal than expected.
I do like Zac’s tank. I find white t-shirts an tanks to be one of the most difficult things to find. More than jeans sometimes. Some are just too sheer, some are too stiff, and others don’t fit right. Am I the only one with this problem or do you readers have the same problem? I am noticing a trend for the men this season during fashion week. Pastels! They have been on many of the runways this season like Dsquared², Balmain, Gaultier, Missoni, and more. Next to to feature the pale hues is Mugler.
The collection featured some wearable pieces like jeans, some shirts, and some unwearable pieces, well unwearable to the general person. The denim was acid washed, and combined with the fit of them, I’d say they were very ’80s. They remind me of Saved by the Bell, thinking about it. I think the pieces individually can work. The color blocking on the sweater and shirts is great, probably my favorite pieces from the collection. Worn looser, they would be great for everyday. You can check out some of the looks below.
Cameron Diaz was spotted posing for the cameras at the Bad Teacher photocall in London, England. Cameron kept her look simple wearing a pair of the J Brand Major jeans in Vintage Starship. I love zipper jeans. They just make everything so much better. One day you might want a slit and on another you would not. They just give a bit more versatility to a pair.
I recently added some zippers to the inseam of my 910s and they came out better than I had thought they would. I think J Brand needs to come out with more styles with ankle-zippers. How many of you readers love ankle-zips? Click here to purchase J Brand jeans at Singer22.
