Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted walking the red-carpet at the announcement party for the CFDA Awards. They were nominated for the Swarovski Award for emerging womenswear design for high-end line, The Row. It’s amazing how successful they have become in the fashion world with the start of one t-shirt.
Leave it to Mary-Kate to show up to this event in a pair of jeans. She wore her custom-made jeans by Maxfields LA. I wonder if Ashley has thought about wearing these jeans again, Mary-Kate practically stole them from her closet. Mary-Kate is also wearing another one of my favorite things, the Balenciaga symphony belt. I just love this belt. It gives the same edge of a studded belt without the studs.
Keira Knightley was spotted leaving the Comedy Theater in London, England after her performance in The Children’s Hour. Keira wore her favorite pair of Sass & Bide Wednesday’s Place Slouchy Skinny Jeans again. We do only seem to spot her leaving the theater like Lorna has said. We rarely get any paparazzi shots of Keira now-a-days.
Us here in the states can finally see some new work of Keira’s coming soon. It was just announced that she will be voicing Tinkerbell in the new movie about the fairy for the SyFy channel. I do miss when Keira was all over the place with her movies. I always thought she had such presence each time she showed up on the screen. Vanessa Hudgens is not in a pair of Black Orchid jeans! Wow! She did choose a pair from her other favorite brand, Current/Elliott.She was spotted out and about in Studio City, California. She wore a pair of Current/Elliott The Low Bell in Fuel/Fray to run errands in. I quite like this outfit. Everything just fits her very well, even with the oversized military jacket the look works. I think the sunglasses and the belt really pulled the look together.
I’m surprised to hear that Vanessa had two movies coming out this month, Beastly and Sucker Punch. Usually we hear about movies that involve the same actor come a month or two apart. Did you guys catch Beastly and will you be watching Sucker Punch when that hits the screens? You can click here to purchase these jeans at RevolveClothing for $218.
Wrangler has just launched their new Spring/Summer 2011 “Stunt” campaign. It features stuntmen performing some pretty gruesome stunts, like jumping through a second story window, avoiding an explosion, falling through glass, and running down a street on fire.
Also featured in the post are some behind-the-scenes shots and the launch party of the campaign. I think this campaign depicts the Wrangler man perfectly. Someone who has no fear in the world. What do you readers think of the new campaign?
