Kylie Jenner was caught taking some pictures on the 4th of July in Calabasas, California. Kylie showed her American pride by wearing a pair of the RUNWAYDREAMZ American Flag shorts. I like how RUNWAYDREAMZ give the classic 501 cutoffs some more flare and fun with all the studs and additional fabric detail.
Kylie has definitely found her style. It is a lot different than what we usually see from her sisters. It is more hipster and grunge than glam and pristine. You can click here to purchase these shorts at Singer22 for $159.
Here is a look at the first ever Textile Elizabeth and James campaign. The vibe of the shoot was inspired by a journey to Joshua Tree, California in 1969. It channels the ’60s rock muses with a mix of Americana. The campaign itself will be featured in the August and September issues of InStyle Magazine.
The clothes featured are the Bianca shirt, the Jimi Flares, the Wilshire and Venice tees, as well as the Castaway striped top. The styling is great. I think its depiction of the backpacker in the desert is perfect. What do you readers think of the campaign? You can see more images of the campaign below.
Here is the new Fall 2011 collection by Current/Elliott. I always enjoy seeing what new washes they come out with. I think they have some amazing ones. The line looks to be inspired by the old western theater and features some new styles, as well as washes. They have a two-tone banded skirt as you can see above. They also have a style that has buttons going up the front, as well as some cords that I find quite nice. There are also some new jackets this season. They have the classic leather motorcycle and a tux inspired denim one.
They also have their classics, like the skinnies and flares. They have their Stiletto Skinny jeans in Rodeo Red, which I think is great. They are a red washed denim with gold stitching. They are modern yet still have the vintage soul with the stitching. They also have some great new washes for the flares, such as some distressed ones and a worn in blue. My favorite would have to be the Tux Trousers. I love the way they fit on the model. I like the whole feel of the shoot, there is something mystical and magical about it with all the smoke and hats. Check out the collection below.
Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani were caught going to son Kingston’s karate class in Los Angeles, California. Gavin wore a pair of AG Jeans while Gwen chose a pair of Work Custom jeans. They weren’t the only ones wearing denim either. Little Zuma wore a pair of skinny acid washed jeans as well.
I think Gwen’s jeans fit her amazingly. I remember the first time I saw her in these a while back and they were a bit loose. I think they look a lot better tighter. Click here to purchase both Work Custom and AG jeans at Singer22.
