Mary-Kate Olsen in Custom-Made Maxfied Jeans
I just love this shot of Mary-Kate Olsen as she was spotted heading back to her seat at the Knicks game in New York last month. The designer wore her custom-made jeans by Maxfield Los Angeles with a trench coat and sweater.
I think it is safe to say that Mary-Kate is most likely the “Queen” of distressed denim. I have never seen her wear a pair of jeans that has not ended up with a rip sooner or later in its life. Even when it comes to designing, distressing is always prominent in Mary-Kate’s Textile line. How many of you will always be fans of distressing?
Jennifer Lopez in J Brand 811 in Rapture
Jennifer Lopez was spotted outside her hotel before heading over to promote her new single in London. The singer wore a pair of J Brand 811 Jeans in Rapture with some studded Louboutin boots. I really like this new hairstyle on Jennifer. The shorter length somehow makes her look feel very fresh.
I am not particularly a fan of the shoes, but like the choice of the color pink opposed to choosing a red pair. It plays off of the gray undertone of the jeans very well. J Brand released their new ‘Little Black Jeans’ collection exclusively at Selfridges to coincide with the opening of their Denim Studio. As an avid fan of black jeans (I own over 20 pairs and counting), this is a collection that I am all for.
The evolution of the Little Black Jean begins with the timeless appeal of J Brand style. They combined the silhouette of their classic skinny jean with the concept of black being a go-to color for evening. With those ideas in mind, the idea was paired with their innovative new nylon stretch cotton fabric. The deep black sheen of the fabric is embellished with bright 24K gold plated detailing that lends a dash of glamor to the design. Emma Stone was spotted tending to Andrew Garfield’s dog while on set of Spider-Man in New York. The actress wore a pair of Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Heritage with a blue jacket and some oxfords.
I love that they incorporated some of Emma’s personal clothing choices into the movie. She has been spotted in Rag & Bone both off and on the set for numerous occasions.
