Katie Holmes was caught getting some coffee at Urth Cafe in Hollywood, California. She wore a pair of the Current/Elliott Stiletto Skinny in Cayenne with a light-washed denim shirt. I wish Katie wore her Marant boots this day. I think her outfit would look a bit more flattering with that extra little height. I think cropped jeans and ankle boots have to be one of the best combos.
Looking at the outfit…I think I know why Katie didn’t wear them. Her look would be pretty western if she did. Another combination that I am liking is the combo of a pale blue denim shirt with a pair of red denim. After seeing it on Poppy Delevigne, the combo really grew on me. I cannot get enough of this French brand. IRO just gets more and more amazing when I see the looks from the new seasons. Nothing is ever too pristine nor too grungy. Just unfussy clean clothing that just looks amazing however and with whatever you wear them with.
My favorite pieces from Fall/Winter would have to be…EVERYTHING! The sweaters and outerwear are just to die for. Those are going to be popular ones. I just love the jacket above! The sherpa lining and the wash is just amazing. The gray coat is also a big hit with me. I also love their new leather pants. They are like a new take on the cargo pant. You can check out all the looks below.
Alessandra Ambrosio was caught out and about with her family in Malibu, California. She wore a pair of the Siwy Camilla Shorts in Loveless. This is such a great summer look. I love the fit of the shirt. The length is just perfect with the shorts.
Siwy recently launched a new style for fall, the Leona. It has a clean pocket opposed to their classic style. I actually do like their original pocket. I find it to be very flattering on the bum. I can understand why they would like to widen their fan base with the clean pockets. They make some amazing jeans. They are so soft and flattering. Click here to purchase Siwy at BlueHeavenBoutique.
Ohh the days of elementary/middle school. That is the first thing that I think of when I hear about the DC brand. To hear that they are coming out with a premium collection is just great. I think many should join the premium market a) being that premium fabric wears better in time b) they last a lot longer than many and c) if you create the right fit, followers are bound to stay.
DC has come out with three fits for their new premium collection. They have the skinny (above), relaxed, and straight leg. I do think the gray washes are amazing, especially the pair above. I love the distressing and paint splatters. It gives them some life, something that gray jeans can often never have. The premium jeans aren’t just limited to the men. They have also come out with some women’s styles. So keep your eye out for these when Fall 2011 comes around. What do you think of the jeans?
