Textile Elizabeth and James just released their new campaign film for their Spring/Summer collection shot by Jason McDonald. The video features model Abby Brothers starting her day on New York’s Lower East Side by choosing the classic Encino Tee and Silverado Debbie jeans to wear.
The video pays homage to the classic campaign films of the 90′s. I love the vibe. It does give off the same feel as those classic commercials to me, especially with Abby rolling around to Underwear by The Magnetic Fields. You can see the film yourself above.
Stripes, stripes with a pinch of floral and ombré made it on to the runways at the Men’s Fall/Winter 2012 Rag & Bone show. The styling was kept sleek and smart, but still had the Rag & Bone unfussiness. The clothes looked like they can easily be worn during a night out, then switch up the look with a plain tee for a laid back morning. Especially those striped pants from Look 3 and the one above, as well as that cardigan.
Great outerwear was also sent down for men’s as well as the women’s. There is not one that many guys would not want to own. The striped coat from Look 19 was the stand out of the whole collection for me. It is perfection and a great new take for the men’s coat. Another new take on a classic were the ombré suits. The tailoring was done so well on them, which is a must for a men’s suit. They also made florals work for men in my opinion. A feat that is very hard to pull off and they did it. You can check out the collection below.
Bronze, leather, stripes, chevron, florals, ride, white, blue, buttons, and fur, even cable-knit legwarmers. Stuff that you would not think would look great together, but Rag & Bone proved us wrong. They sent down looks with all those details and more at the Fall/Winter 2012 show at New York Fashion Week.
There was nothing that I could find wrong in this collection. It makes me want it to be freezing cold in California and for me to be a woman so I can don some of these pieces. The outerwear this season is just amazing. I loved all the stripes. Out of all the looks, if I had to choose, the look above would have to be my favorite, next would be Look 33 with all the florals. I cannot deny though that I have fallen for the red, white, blue, and black stripes. The perfect color combination that will make any piece it is printed on look amazing. Fergie was spotted arriving back to Los Angeles, California at LAX Airport. She wore a pair of Black Orchid Black Jewel Skinny Jeans in Crystal. It looks like Black Orchid is back in rotation in Fergie’s closet. She seems to switch back and forth between these, Nobody and Balmain.
I somehow strangely like this look. The floral blazer looks really nice with the whole look. Though this is an outfit that only Fergie can pull off. Everything fits her very well. There is one thing that I dislike with this look though and that is the sunglasses. I think black ones would have been a better choice.
