Metallic was a big trend for Fall, so why not show how they can work for Winter as well? I chose the Joe’s Ankle Skinny Jeans in Silver (click here to buy) for this styling post. These are a pair of jeans that are bold on their own, but when styled a certain way, you can either have them as the base of a look or as the stand out piece. You can see my cold weather ready looks below.
For the first look I went for a minimal approach by pairing them with neutrals so the jeans stand out. I styled them with the Topshop Borg Biker Jacket, T by Alexander Wang T Shirt, Bottega Veneta Belt, and Celine Sandals. I wanted to break up the look a bit with the red belt. That little pop of color keeps the upper body from looking like a marshmallow. Just like the belt, the sandals help the look as well. When there is this much lack of color going on at the top, a shoe like this helps keep the outfit look modern with its barely there style.
Silver is a color that I find works really well with neutrals, but when styled with the right colors and pieces, it can work as a base just like every other pair of jeans. For this look, I decided to pair the jeans with the J Brand Daria Shirt, a Topshop Puffer Vest, Marant Lazio Boots, and a Diesel Belt. I could not think of any other style denim shirt to pair with these pants. I think one that is patched with different shades and slightly oversized works best with the silver. I would suggest tucking the shirt in and roll the sleeves up as wearing it this way dresses down the smart aspect that silver jeans tend to give off.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield made a quick trip to New York a couple of weeks back, both decked out in Rag & Bone. Emma chose their Skinny in Kensington while Andrew chose the RB15X in Jewel with their Varsity Jacket.
These two seem to be huge Rag & Bone fans. I cannot imagine how big the section in their closet would be for Rag & Bone. It seems endless with just the jeans alone and I am sure that they have other pieces along with them. I can’t really blame them for loving the brand so much because they have pretty much taken over my closet as well. You can click here to purchase Rag & Bone from their site.

Drew Barrymore came out to support her friend Kimberly Snyder at the opening of her Glow Bio Juice Bar in West Hollywood, California. She wore a pair of Rag & Bone Leggings in Derby with a Barbara Bui jacket and Assembly t shirt.
I always enjoy getting sightings of Drew. Not only because I think she has great style, but mostly because she is just a ray of sunshine. She is a person that will just put a smile on anyone’s face. Her positive attitude is definitely infectious. You can click here to purchase these jeans ON SALE at SSENSE for $140.
Ashlee Simpson wasn’t the only one donning skinny black denim with high top sneakers at her son’s birthday party. Nicole Richie was also sporting the look. She wore her favorite Ksubi Spray On jeans in Dark Night with a pair of studded chucks and a Givenchy hoodie to attend the party with daughter Harlow in Studio City, California.
This look is casual, but there is something about Nicole’s aura that makes it very chic. It’s also a look that can easily go from day to night in my opinion. By switching the Chucks to some ankle boots, I think, it’ll be ready for the evening. You can click here to purchase these at Ksubi for $179.95.
