It’s that time of the year again when high-waisted cut-off shorts and barely any clothing is involved. I went the opposite route, minus the high-waisted shorts. For this year’s Coachella post, I wanted to do looks that were more casual and less extreme on the jewelry.
We all know how insane people can get with the accessories during this festival. I did incorporate some jewelry and accessories into some of the looks, but mostly kept everything minimal and looking just comfortable. You can easily add a bevy of jewels to these looks without compromising the breezy Summer feel.
It’s only a couple of weeks away so get your wallets ready to get these pieces. How many of you guys are excited and who are you hoping to see? These next couple of weeks cannot be any longer for me.
Gwen Stefani was spotted heading to the doctors in Hollywood, California. The singer pulled out an older pair of jeans from her closet, the Skinny Crop in Dark Cloud by Current/Elliott to pair with a Barbara Bui jacket and some motorcycle boots.
I am obsessed with this look. Everything fits really well and the proportions are just right. I also like the addition of the beanie. I always say, ‘When in doubt, throw on a beanie” because it can really ‘make’ any look that you wear it with. These are an older pair, but you can get the same feel with their Stiletto in Smokestack Python from REVOLVEclothing.
These jeans fit Cara perfectly. I thought that I wouldn’t like them zipped up at the ankles, but I am quite fond of how they look here. It keeps the outfit looking clean. These jeans in the Bordeaux wash are also a pair that I find to be a versatile combination. I have seen them look great worn with both heels and sneakers. You can click here to purchase these jeans from the Hudson website for $198.
Hudson reminds you to #LETYOURSELFGO with the new Spring/Summer 2013 look book. They showed the versatility of their jeans by styling them in looks inspired from coast to coast. You can see the models styled in breezy California looks to ones that carry a downtown New York vibe. Don’t think they didn’t get anywhere in the middle covered. You can also see looks with pompadours, high waisted cropped skinnies and leather jackets inspired by the Rockabillys.
We usually only see one inspiration when it comes to look books. The range of this one is what I like. It shows that their jeans are not just one note and anyone can wear them regardless of their style. See all the the new styles below.
