Here is a look at the new Burberry Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. For this season Christopher Bailey opted for more feminine silhouettes, which his designs were never anything like. When I mean feminine, I mean that these accentuate the curves this season. The looks can’t be super feminine though. Some of the looks had cargo pockets to help break up the feminine vibe.
The stripes trend carried on over from across the pond and landed on the Burberry catwalk as well. Many of the looks were belted, high-waisted, skirted, and had a ton of velvet. There was no sign of trousers this season. You can see the collection below.
Jessica Alba was spotted leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Studios in Hollywood, California. She wore a pair of the Current/Elliott Black Polka Dot Stiletto Skinny jeans. I was wondering when we would see these on someone. I am not surprised to see that it is Jessica. She is one that is not scared to try out new styles, no matter how bold they are.
I am not too keen on this look. I do somehow like the scarf and the jeans together. I am just not fond of the layering of the leather vest with the sweater. It bulks her up a bit too much, in my opinion. I think a fitted blazer would look much better. You can click here to purchase these jeans at Net-A-Porter for 200.
Zoe Saldana was spotted heading to the movies in Los Angeles, California. She wore a pair of Goldsign Lure Skinny jeans in Precious. I like the blue/black wash of these. It is a wash that I find very versatile.
I have grown quite fond of Goldsign jeans. I have yet to try them out, but I think they make some really great washes and styles. I think their Jenny jeans are really great. I think it is a style that is quite flattering when worn on the tighter side as opposed to the slouchier way that we have seen them worn quite a few times. Click here to buy Goldsign at Shopbop.
Siwy has released some great shades and detail just in time for Spring. There are a few ombre shades and they all come in cool Spring hues. There are also some new styles.
They have the Alia shorts, which are their famous classic shorts with clean pockets in some great ombre shades. My favorite would have to be the Tropical Ice above. Their Camillas and Hannahs weren’t left out of the mix either. They come in a blue, named Never Forever, which also comes in the Leonas, and there is an ombre wash called Mixed Signals. The Hannahs come in a pink wash, Air Kiss, and a bright blue, Cool La La.
They have their Anita flares in a punchy red named, My Place or Yours. I’m hoping to see Kate Moss wear these. My favorite out of all these styles would have to be the Rose in Sunshine. I am really favoring yellow jeans this season. I think they are a great neutral color if you still haven’t tried the colored trend, but are still hesitant. Especially this pair. They have a vintage feel to them that will make them very versatile. You can see all the styles below.
