Kate seems to be a huge fan of these jeans. She has been constantly caught in them over the past few months since we first spotted her in them. I hope to see her try a few of the other washes in this fit, especially some of the distressed ones. I think those would look amazing on her and we haven’t seen her wear distressed styles in a while. Cargo shorts have come a long way from the classic canvas styles by Abercrombie and Hollister. Which I still do find are some of the greatest that I have ever come across because of their sturdiness and classic appeal.
With classic aside, brands like Balmain, G-Star, White Moutaineering as well as others have elevated the piece into styles that are more fun, sometimes sleek and even lightweight. So how many of you are interested in trying a new reinvented style for Spring? You can see my choices from printed styles, interesting details, and some updated classics below.
I think this is a sighting that is well overdue. It has been a while since we have seen Mary-Kate Olsen in a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James jeans. For the 2013 Tribeca Ball at New York Academy of Art, the designer chose to wear a pair of the Cooper jeans in Midnight with a coat.
One thing I do wish is that Mary-Kate showed more of the front of the jeans. The details are so amazing that they deserve to be showed off. You can click here to purchase Textile Elizabeth and James from Shopbop.
I have been waiting to write about someone in these pants because they are just so cool. The slouchy fit of them also makes the overall look of them just cooler. What do you think of them? You can click here to purchase these from the Work Custom website for $440.
