Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving rehearsals for SNL in New York. She wore a pair of bright red Alice + Olivia jeans with some ankle boots. It is nice to see Lindsay wearing some of the newer trends. It seems like the last trend we wrote about her in was when she was caught in the studded Siwy Hannah in Libertine. I hope to see her wear a pair of the Paige Tumble jeans. I am really interested in seeing how she would style them.
It seems like returning to SNL has really lifted Lindsay’s spirits. It’s great to see her start to feel and look positive again. What did you guys think of her return to SNL? I found that the skits, when she hosts, were always funny, especially the Debbie Downer skit. That has to be one of my favorite skits of all time, along with Janet Jackson’s Escalade and Soak Cork sketches. Seeing the actors laugh just makes them funnier. Buy Alice + Olivia at Ssense.com.
Miranda Kerr was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, California. She wore her amazingly fitted Nobody Cult Skinny Jeans in Code. I love that these are so high-waisted, but don’t look like “Mom Jeans.” Miranda just knows how to style them in a way for them not to look like they are.
I am surprised to not see Miranda in Paris for Fashion Week, especially at the Balenciaga show. She has not walked the show the past couple of seasons though. I do wish to see her walk Balenciaga again soon. She was always a highlight for me when she walked. Buy Nobody Denim at DonnaIda.com.
I just came across these J Brand Bella jeans in Vivid a couple days ago. I think they are amazing! They definitely suit the name it has perfectly. I love that J Brand took a vintage approach without sacrificing an amazing fit.
I think the detail on them is really great. The wash alone is just perfect. It is one that you can wear with anything, but the little details are was caught my eye the most. They feature details that we don’t usually see in a pair of J Brand jeans. They have a double stitch inseam as well as outseam (the usual stitching is single and just at the inseam). There’s also two extra belt loops compared to their classic pairs. The last detail is that these don’t have rivets. There is just little stitching of “X’s” in their place. I think that detail is one that they should start adding to some of their other jeans. It is one that I favored most about these. A western inspired Fall/Winter 2012 Isabel Marant collection walked down the runways at Paris Fashion Week. There was suede, leather, eyelets, and floral embroidery to the max. There were also some studs here and there.
There is something about this collection that I find really appealing. It may be all the suede though. There was no article of clothing that was not made in the skin this season. She showed some jackets, shirts, pants, boots and all were made of the fabric. I hope this means more suede styles by the big name denim brands.
Isabel also brought back the return of her lace-up styles as well as pink jeans and featured some red waxed jeans. I can see these pieces on the many Marant lovers already. You can see the collection below.
