Lately I have been preferring looks with white jeans for the winter season over summer. It’s a great way to add a crisp feel to layered looks, as shown by many of the editors of Vogue Paris throughout the years. For these looks, I choose the Hudson Nico in White to work with. They have a great cropped fit that is super slim and can have a great slouch to it depending on the size you choose.
This one is more for the fall weather (in warmer locations, i.e. California) than winter if I had to be honest. One of my favorite looks is an all white one with hints of silver working throughout the look. The new Isabel Marant x H&M belt is the best piece to give that hint of silver along with the details of these Saint Laurent boots. I then added a scarf by Proenza Schouler because it gives just enough color without taking away from the crisp white look of the jeans with the IRO t shirt.
Another one of my favorite looks is a pair of cropped white jeans with some Chelsea boots. Especially when they are about an inch or two above the shaft of the jeans and showing a tad of ankle. I chose the classic pair by Balenciaga because they are just the perfect cut in my eyes. Then to add a “borrowed from the boyfriend” look, I chose a plaid shirt from IRO, a jacket from R13 and some Ray-Bans to keep the look feeling classic.
As the other two were paired with ankle boots, I wanted to do something without a pair and with a more feminine sense. Something that still had the essence and structure of winter without the literal shoe choice. For this look here, the jeans are styled with a jacket by IRO, a t shirt by R13, some Saint Laurent pumps and to finish it off, the Lucrezia by Givenchy.
-So how many of you will be wearing your layers with white jeans for this season?
Ashley has worn these jeans many times already, but this is the first time that we have seen her wear them without the cuff. I think it’s great seeing her wear them in a new way, I hope to see her style them this way more. Maybe with some ankle boots next, like her Balenciaga boots. January Jones was spotted heading to the hair salon in Brentwood, California. For the hair appointment, January wore a pair Black Orchid High Rise Jeggings in Russian Blue. It looks like she went for a more strawberry shade of blonde as she was caught out.
January is a really huge fan of the high rise cut. She has been caught in styles by many other brands in a range of washes. I find that it suits her shape very well and I actually prefer to see her wear them. They don’t look dowdy or unflattering like they can sometimes on others. How many of you also prefer the higher rise? You can click here to purchase these jeans from the Black Orchid website for $145.
This is definitely an interesting look, even though it is costume. I do think it is a great modern interpretation of Miss Hannigan though. They took her signatures of the character, like disheveled hairstyle and over accessorizing, then mixed it with Cameron’s personal style in a way. How many of you are looking forward to the new Annie?
