Rooney Mara was spotted making her way through LAX Airport after flying in from Rome after promoting her film Her. The actress kept to her signature monochromatic look with a pair of R13 Boy Skinny Jeans in Black and a knit sweater and some boots.
I find Rooney to be the epitome of the R13 girl. She has that diamond in the rough quality to her that I also find in R13. There is the prominent toughness, but also a refinement that keeps you instilled by them. There is no other person I can see wearing the brand better. Miley Cyrus was spotted greeting her fans as she left BBC Radio One in London. The singer wore a pair of Versace Patent Leather Pants with a fur collared jacket, her favorite creepers and a vintage Chanel bag.
I have actually been thinking about patent leather pants for some time now. It is such a great throwback to the ’90s, but done better with a more flattering fit. Though I don’t see it as being as big as the classic leather, I can see it being worn by more celebs on the red carpet. Would you like to see patent leather kick off as a trend? With subtle pieces like the turtleneck that Miley has on, I would not mind seeing this going big. You can click here to purchase these pants from SSENSE $850.

Ever since Isabel Marant released the Soan leather trousers a few years back, I could not stop thinking about them. Then when I heard that her collaboration with H&M was going to be a retrospective of her popular pieces, I was hoping that those pants would make an appearance. Just my luck, she did reinterpret them and they are in coated denim. So to coincide with the launch today, I decided to style them in a way that I have been envisioning them for a while.
Ever since I saw them, I thought of them being worn in sort of an underground East London/Swedish punk vibe. With great detail and a cropped semi slouchy fit, I think they embody that sort of style very well. I chose to pair them with an olive t shirt by R13, my favorite Balenciaga boots, an Hermes cuff and a Rick Owens beanie. This is something I would even wear myself, so I would say that this is another look for both the ladies and men. What do you think of this outfit?
I got sent these jeans by Williamsburg Garment Co. to review for the blog. What interested me about the company is their back story. Everything from the weaving of the denim to the construction is all made in America without sacrificing the quality. After learning more about the brand, I couldn’t have been more pleased to review a pair. Read more on the brand here and click through to read my review.
