Gigi Hadid was spotted attending some of shows during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris, France. The model kept it casual with a pair of J Brand L8001 Leather Leggings in Black with a Rosetta Getty cardigan and a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals. She finished her look with a Emm Kuo bag and a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses.
I like the contrast of the printed sweater and scarf with the leather pants. The pairing gives off a Saint Laurent vibe because the quilted inspired piece feels vintage while the leather pants give the look an edgy modern feel. This is a combination that the fashion house is known for and has shown many times at its shows. How many of you would wear a look like this? You can click here to purchase J Brand from SHOPBOP.
My review this month is going to be on the Rag & Bone Fit 1 in Waterloo. Ever since I first saw these, I instantly wanted to try them out. They are one of the best blues that I have seen in a while because there is great detail to them that feels authentic and only adds to their appeal. Definitely a pair that I could not be more proud of hitting the market.
To start, I took these in my usual size 28. I didn’t realize that they were button-fly at first, so I was a bit hesitant at first as button-fly do tend to run smaller. These though, fit just like a pair with a zipper-fly. That’s something that I love about Rag & Bone is their consistency with their jeans regardless of details.
The legs are cut pretty slim and I would say they are on the slimmer side of a straight leg cut. These also have a lower rise than expected for men’s jeans, which I actually am a fan of because it adds to the edgy appeal of the jeans. They aren’t a women’s low, but low enough to have a modern fit that works well with the vintage feel of the wash. Though I am someone that does like stacking on their jeans, these are just a tad short for me at 32″. There is some stacking, but I personally would prefer them to have a bit more length to them.
What surprises me the most about these jeans was the fabrication. They have a really soft hand and quite a bit of stretch to them. I was not expecting this at all as they look like a washed pair of rigid denim. This definitely gets a thumbs up from me as they feel as though they are a pair of sweatpants and can be worn all day. The wash is my favorite part. I first saw these on Justin Theroux and just instantly fell in love them because of light blue and repaired detailing.
These have a sandy blue wash to them that for the most part is great on its own, but Rag & Bone took it up another level and added some distressing. Clean distressing that complements the wash really well. There are slash knees and repaired tears at the upper inner thighs at both the front and back of the jeans. These are actual repair detailing as they have denim patches underneath as reinforcement. So there is no fear of them opening up as you move around.
Overall, if you are looking for a really comfortable pair of distressed jeans, these are the ones to get. They have a great fit that will look great on many body types and they feel fresh from the other distressed styles out for men right now. I definitely recommend these. Kourtney Kardashian was spotted heading to lunch with her family in Agoura Hills, California. The reality star kept her look casual with a pair of H&M Suede Jeans in Black with a Saint Laurent jacket and boots.
I am a huge fan of this look, as I have been hoping for suede jeans to hit the markets. They read as a more luxe black jean that adds a different feel to the everyday look, like this one here. I also like that Kourtney chose a pair by H&M. They rival even some suede pairs by the bigger names. How many of you like the idea of suede jeans? They are definitely a style that I am interested in trying. You can click here to purchase these pants from the H&M website.
Khloe Kardashian arrived back in Los Angeles, California after her promotional tour in New York. The reality star wore a pair of a TOPSHOP Moto Jamie in Super Rip Black with a turtleneck layered under a leather moto jacket and some Fausto Puglisi boots.
This look is very interesting and I wouldn’t say it is my favorite of hers. Though I do have to say that if the jeans weren’t distressed, it would just be a plain outfit. Even with the studded boots, I find that the tears of the jeans really helped it. It is a look that is based on opulence and Khloe carries herself well in it. What are your thoughts on this look?
