Quickly becoming a celebrity favorite (popular with celebs like Jessica Alba, Rachel Bilson and Alexa Chung), J Crew’s sister site has released some trendier options for spring. They recently released a trouser cut jean and a slim fit bootcut rocker jean. While I’ve always been a bit reluctant about ordering jeans online (especially if I’ve never worn the brand or tried them on in store before), Madewell offers “Genius Jeans Guarantee.” This means you can get free shipping and free returns on all jeans, so you can order them without worrying about paying for the shipping costs. You can view some of the latest looks above and visit the Madewell website to shop all of the denim styles they have to offer.
UPDATE! Thanks to Frankie B. for letting us know they are their BFF sequin skinny jeans!
Emmanuelle Chirqui poses on the purple carpet for the grand opening of the Cosmopolitan and Marquee Club in Las Vegas. She posed for the cameras and then made her way inside to welcome in the new year! I wonder what she’s working on now that Entourage is no longer?
Emmanuelle looked dressed to the nines for the new year. She wore a sheer blouse with an embellished neckline and a pair of printed jeans. Her jeans look like they have a lace print but it’s hard to tell with the light reflecting off of them. They look very similar to Siwy’s Rose jeans with snake print. What do you think of the printed jean trend? Is it something you’d wear?
Paris Hilton welcomed in the new year with her boyfriend Cy Waits. The couple were seen vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Paris and her beau spent the day zip-lining. There are many big things ahead for Paris, she has a new reality show debuting and she’s turning 30!
Looking uncharacteristically casual, Paris wore an over-sized sweatshirt with a smiley face and a pair of Siwy Denim jeans. Paris has been seen in Siwy quite a few times recently. You can buy Siwy jeans at Singer22.com.
Topshop has announced their latest venture, recycled denim! The brand is collaborating with Pharrell Williams’ company and eco-friendly line, Bionic Yarn to create a three-piece sustainable denim collection. The collection features 70s style cuffed jeans, cuffed shorts and a denim jacket, each made in part from recycled bottles. But the fabric still maintains a quality feel. Williams stated, “The coolest thing about Bionic Yarn is that the fabric is actually superior to the average fabric… and the pieces look so good.” The prices range from $70-$100, which are great considering most sustainable clothing collections have a much higher price point.
