Making her way onto her private jet, Taylor Swift, was seen jetting off to Turks & Caicos. She spent the Christmas Holiday on the island with her mom and brother. She’s been busy between her album promotions and 21st birthday, I’m sure she was happy to have a break! She also passed along Christmas wishes via her Twitter: “I hope you all have a beautiful Christmas.”
Perfect for traveling, Taylor wore her American Eagle’s soft jegging in medium rise. She wore them while flying through Heathrow to promote her album. They must great for traveling and you can’t beat the price of $29.95!
Cameron Diaz was seen leaving the Lakers game on Christmas. Cameron just returned from vacationing in Mexico with A-Rod. The two were seen relaxing and playing with Alex’s children. Sounds like a very relaxing holiday!
In her usual laid back bohemian style, Cameron wore a pair of skinny jeans, layered tees and beat up knee-high boots. I love her boots, I think they match so well with her AG Adriano Goldschmied’s The Stilt 5 year in 2 way skinny jeans. You can buy her jeans at Revolveclothing.com for $225.00.
Update: She’s also wearing Current/Elliott’s Solider jacket. Thanks for the ID Maria!
Rachel Bilson does some post-holiday shopping with a girlfriend. She and her friend grabbed some coffee before making their way around the Glendale area shopping center. In her style article in InStyle, Rachel was quoted saying that layering is the key to keeping chic and warm!
Luckily, it looked warm in California and Rachel stuck to an over-sized cable knit sweater and a pair of Paige Premium jeans. I definitely think that Rachel’s quickly becoming a queen of jeans! She has so many different pairs and washes (you can see how she’s worn these jeans before here) You can buy Rachel’s jeans at Paigeusa.com for $189.00.
Tim Kaeding, former creative director/designer for 7 for All Mankind, and Lela Tillem, former president of sales and marketing at Citizens for Humanity have teamed up to launch the mother of all denim lines: Mother. The inspiration for the line was certainly retro, as Tim Kaeding stated, everything from “60s cinema to Max’s Kansas City,” inspired the line’s first collection.
The collection features trendy styles, from flares, to skinnies and denim leggings. Not only has incredible detail been considered with fit, but also with fabric selection. The fabric is soft and luxurious but also features stretch, for a snug and flattering look. Kaeding also explained, “We are taking our expertise in fit and finish and adding a key third element that involves developing new denims that feel like cashmere.” The washes are also unique, including dyed black and white jeans as well as super-saturated blues. The collection will also feature other fabrics such as twills.
Kaeding explains the mission behind the line, was to “Break the barriers of what people have come to expect of average mainstream denim companies. Aside from the obvious luxurious nature of the denims, we really went after a more saturated wash palette.”
The line will be available for purchase in stores, starting January 30th. Prices begin at $100 and go up to $242. You can preview the look book below:
