Acne’s $2,000 Jeans?
Acne’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection featured a variety of jeans with silver armor style plates on them. Now you can own a piece of the runway, as Acne is creating custom, made-to-order jeans. The silver plates (which are real silver) are designed by Husam El Odeh, a London jewelry designer. But $2,000 for jeans-especially these? Price aside, would anyone wear these?

Everyone’s favorite talk show host, Oprah, wore a pair of CJ by Cookie Johnson jeans last week. Recently, on the cover of her magazine, O Magazine, she wore the Love Boyfriend style jean (seen above). She’s a huge fan of them and raved that, “The perfect jeans for real women with real booties,” she says. “For three days straight, I had on the jeans.” The twilight is a darker wash which is meant to flatter the legs. The waistband gently cinches the waist curve, eliminating muffin top. The best part, is the distressed denim already feels worn in!

Jessica Simpson arrived in LAX after a trip to India to film her reality show, The Price of Beauty. She’s wearing a pair of J Brand “901″ denim leggings, in Olympia wash. I think these are a great option for travel, since they’re comfortable and stretchy like normal leggings but still a bit more refined, like jeans!
