Popular denim brand, Paper Denim & Cloth recently relaunched their line with a new collection for Spring 2013. In July, the brand shot their new look book on a rooftop in Brooklyn. The shots, which were launched in real time on Instagram, had a bit of history behind them as the brand’s creative director, Chantel Valentine explained, “The original Paper Denim look book was done with Polaroids. Instagram is the modern equivalent, so when we were talking about doing the look book for the relaunch, it was a natural step. It fits in with our idea that getting dressed should be easy ÔÇö with Instagram you can’t retouch, it’s what you see is what you get. It’s the opposite of fussy.”
The new collection has expanded its offerings to include both men’s and women’s styles, and women’s knits and blouses. The collection includes the ICN, the original cut, the FOX which is a cropped style, the EZE, a menswear-inspired cut and the FLN, a classic slim straight cut with selvedge seams for men. While the collection in it’s entirety will not be available until next year, a capsule collection will be on the brand’s website starting in September. Check out the images and video below:
A casually dressed Anna Kendrick arrived at LAX after spending some time in New York City. Anna wore a pair of American Eagle Jeggings in Super Dark Destroyed with a hoodie and a pair of snakeskin flats.
I like the subtle ripping on these jeans and I think that American Eagle has some great options and takes on current trends. Plus, the brand is currently offering all of their blue jeans for $30. You can shop for them here.
Carrying a handful of drinks, Emma Roberts was spotted out on location in Wilmington, NC. Emma juggled them before she dropped one on the sidewalk. I wonder if she was picking them up for her costars as she is busy filming We Are the Millers in North Carolina with Jennifer Aniston.
Emma wore a pair of Armani Exchange Coated Denim leggings in Coated Indigo with a sweater and flats. I love these as a more affordable option for coated jeans, I especially love this Beet colored pair, which is going to be a really big color this fall. You can buy jeans from Armani Exchange here.
Christina Applegate was seen heading to the Grove to film a spot on Extra and promote her new venture, FabKids. Not only is Christina working on her new business venture, but she’s also filming the much anticipated sequel to Anchorman, Anchorman 2.
For her appearance on Extra, she wore a pair of J Brand Brix skinny cargos in Vintage Evergreen with a Nation LTD kingwood tee shirt in sand dollar. The Brix is a great update to the cargo pant, it has great zipper detailing at the hip instead of trouser pockets. You can buy these online from JBrandjeans.com.
