 Alloy has more inseams!

Great news for those who need a longer or shorter inseam. Alloy is the answer! The typical denim inseam is 33″ which can mean either too long or too short for a lot of people. Alloy has inseams starting at 30″ going to 37″ so you don’t have to worry about hemming or looking like you’re wearing flood pants. They have a variety of options in every style and cut, and the best part is they’re under $50!

Check them out at Alloy.com

Advertising Age names 7 For All Mankind one of the top ten products of the decade

As the decade comes to a close, the lists are beginning to grow! The “top ten” lists are a springing up everywhere.

Advertising Age magazine released their list of the top 10 new products of the decade. One of designer denim’s most popular brands, 7 For All Mankind, came in at #10. The magazine stated” With the launch of 7 For All Mankind in 2000, premium denim was introduced to the American market and shopping for jeans would never be the same again. By 2007, annual revenues were estimated at $300 million, and the brand was acquired by VF Corp., who has said it expects to see sales of the brand grow 15% annually.” The brand really helped develop the premium denim market.

Brooklyn Bandit Jeans Co.

12.18.2009 Posted in Denim Brands by Jennifer

 Brooklyn Bandit Jeans Co.

One of the latest lines out of New York, is Brooklyn Bandit Company. They’ve created a sophisticated, yet urban Spring 2010 Collection for men.  The focus is combining street style and art in a jean, stemming from the brand’s New York roots. Fabrics were imported from around the world and months were spent to perfect every last detail, from fit to distressing.

The original idea for Brooklyn Bandit came from designer, Niket Pandya, who started purchasing apparel from the underground fashion movement in New York, then selling them to suburban dwellers in New York, New Jersey and the surrounding areas. After bringing awareness to the underground movement, Pandya decided to establish his own brand, which was released in April 2008.

The winter collection was released in November and can be purchased at Karmaloop.com. You can view the collection in the gallery below.
