Acne’s $2,000 Jeans?

Acne’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection featured a variety of jeans with silver armor style plates on them. Now you can own a piece of the runway, as Acne is creating custom, made-to-order jeans. The silver plates (which are real silver) are designed by Husam El Odeh, a London jewelry designer. But $2,000 for jeans-especially these? Price aside, would anyone wear these?

    Acne is a very interreting brand that not many person understand trully and that is sad !

    Saw a DIY version of this on grey-flecked black jeans, looked better. WTH, real silver? Certainly not on my knees!
