3 Ways to Wear: Nudie Tight Long John in Deep Abyss

For this month, I wanted to do looks for the men and I don’t style blue jeans much as very rarely I find a pair of blues that have the dreamy quality. However, the Nudie Tight Long John in Deep Abyss is just that as the first time I saw them my eyes widened. Everything from the perfect fit and tonal stitching to the fades and richness of the blue/black wash, they are all around one of the best blues that I have seen to date. See the looks that I came up with below.

I love monochromatic blue, almost more that than an all black look at times and I wanted to go for that with this look here. I also wanted to do something with a David Beckham vibe as he has always been one of my favorite people to see in double denim. I paired the jeans with a RRL denim shirt to layer over a James Perse t shirt because, I think, we don’t see two pieces of dark denim paired together often. I always find it to be very smart looking. Then to finish off the clean look, I chose one of my favorite boots from Loake 1880 and a hat by Brixton.

I always feel that a casual look is necessary and something with pieces that many guys probably already have in their closets. A look like this is classic and I am sure every guy is comfortable in when they wear it. I paired the jeans with a t shirt from Stussy and a Simon Miller flannel to layer over. To add some warmth to the look, I added a beanie by Beam Plus and of course a pair of the Vans Sk8-Hi sneakers to pull it all together.

This look here has a more street vibe. I chose to pair the jeans with the brown colorway of the YEEZY 950 boots because, I find, the brown to complement the blue in the jeans really well. I then chose a simple white t shirt by James Perse as the J. Crew sweater has a statement print. To finish it all off, I went for my favorite hat by Gents Co.
