Halloween Look-1

I wanted to have some fun and my first thought was to choose the Mad Hatter. The way he mixes prints has always been intriguing and being that it is Halloween, it is a day to get away with it. I started the look off with the red plaid R13 harem pants. They have an exaggerated and cropped fit that just works with the quirk that he gives off. Now for the mixing, I went for a tweed vest by Lardini, a scarf by Haider Ackermann scarf and socks by Paul Smith to bring in the ‘mad’ aspect. Though some that is all about exaggeration, the Mad Hatter does incorporate some clean classic pieces. For those pieces, I chose a clean white shirt by Versus and a pair of Uri Minkoff shoes. Then to finish it all off, his signature hat. How many of you are looking forward for Halloween?

I wanted to do something traditional and known for denim for my Halloween costume as I usually do something related to the superhero theme. I chose to go down a Western route and do a cowgirl inspired look and I love it! I chose these One Teaspoon shorts as the base as I know we all love to look a little bit sexy on Halloween and then I paired them with a red plaid shirt from Topshop, which you might want to tie up at the front. I of course paired this look with some classic Cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, as well as a Western belt to really keep the theme going. To make it a little more modern and feminine, I finally chose these aviator sunglasses and a red lipstick for a bold statement. How many of you are going as a cowgirl this year?

Overalls are everywhere this season and so are Minions! I figured combining the two would be the perfect Halloween costume. This costume is a really fun and playful look and can easily be created with things already in your closet. First, I chose these 7 For All Mankind overalls, and then this signature bright yellow tee shirt. I added some black lace up boots and gloves, and finally clear rimmed glasses to look similar to the goggles.
