3 Styles, 3 Looks: AG Jeans The Bonnie Shorts

Shorts season is here and one brand that makes some awesome washes that scream the new season, is AG Jeans. I chose their Bonnie shorts in three different washes to style in looks that breathe the easy vibe that the shorts give off. Whether you choose to raid the flea markets in the coming months or just head to the many parties, these are looks that are perfect for any of those occasions.

An all black look is something that most people tend to avoid this time of the year as wearing all black can lead to being overheated. But when wearing lightweight pieces, it is something that can work. I went for The Bonnie in 8 Years Midnight Drift to pair with a linen button front shirt from Equipment. The faded and whiskered details add a bit more to the classic pairing. I then wanted to keep that ease to the outfit by adding a pair of slides from Loeffler Randall and bag from Sensi Studios to carry all the new buys for when you hit the boardwalk in this look.

A post about denim shorts is not complete without the classic lightwashed blues. For this one, I went with The Bonnie in 14 Years Sundrenched to pair with a striped Equipment shirt. I wanted to go for something that had an Alexa Chung sense with this look here. She is definitely a fan of the pairing of the combination as she has been seen in it numerous times. I didn’t want to go with Alexa’s typical accessories choice though. For the shoes, I went for some high-top Chucks, and for the bag, a simple tote by Monserat De Lucca.

Now for something slightly dressier, in an Isabel Marant sense. I paired The Bonnie in White Restored with a slouchy sweater by Tibi. Then to keep that Marant vibe going, a chose a pair of the Minnetonka boots and as her looks are not done without some key accessories, I went for a belt by Bottega Veneta and classic Ray-ban aviators to finish it all off.
