3 Denim Outfits For 4th July

The 4th of July is just around the corner and as we do every year, each of us here have put together a look centered around red, white and blue in celebration. There are two women’s outfits and one man’s look, each involving red, white or blue denim. Happy 4th everyone! Wear your denim well!

I decided to go for a pool or beach inspired look this year since the weather is abnormally hot over here in the UK. This one will be perfect for those of you in the warmer states right now! I went for a pair of Isabel Marant Etoile Denim Shorts in red as my base and then went all out with this cool GUESS American Triangle Bikini Top to really add some flare! Since it can get chilly with the wind or some of us like to be a little more covered, I chose a Romwe White Kimono to layer over the top and some Charlotte Russe White Wooden Platforms to match. Finally, I finished it off with some patriotic US Flag Sunglasses for some fun and some Blue Glitter Nail Polish.

When I think 4th of July, the first thing that always comes to mind is a pool party and BBQ. Especially being in California, the weather is usually always in the mid-90s or higher during that day. So swimming trunks are definitely a standard choice when coming up with a look for it. I went for a pair of shorts by Quality Peoples shorts to pair with a white denim shirt from MOTHER and a simple grey tank by The Idle Man. Then to finish the look off a pair of slides by Adidas to carry on the the pool party vibe. How many of you guys like to keep it simple during the holiday?

My 4th of July plans are always pretty laid back and casual, so I wanted to style a look that would be comfortable for a low key gathering but still polished. I chose these boyfriend style jeans from FRAME, since boyfriend jeans have a great casual fit. I paired them with this gingham check blouse from Equipment because I think the gingham is such a classic print and is so perfect for summer. I loved the idea of keeping the look all blue, so I added a bit of a bolder shade with these Aquazzura blue espadrille sandals. For accessories, I finished with this woven straw clutch from LAGGO and these nude cat eye frames from Ray-Ban.
