The trend of top denim labels collaborating with models continues. Next is MOTHER working with model Candice Swanepoel inspired by ’90s street style.
With a clear vision of what she wanted, Candice came up with pieces like high waisted shorts inspired by Cindy Crawford’s iconic Pepsi and ultra high waisted skinny jeans that are available in 7 washes. Candice didn’t just stop with cut and wash when it came to the collaboration. The model wanted to add a personal touch to each piece in the form of her family crest, a swimming swan.
The collaboration is not just a collection of clothing either. Candice also wanted to give back to her roots and partnered with mothers2mothers. A portion of the proceeds from the denim collaboration will go to the South African–based organization to prevent the spread of HIV from mothers to their children.
