3 Ways to Wear the Hudson Slash Jeans

I wanted to choose a pair of jeans that were a bit different from the usual classic cut and the Slash jeans by Hudson are just that. The exposed zip and the lace-ups on the side add a cool vibe to them that is edgy and modern. The details standout, yet being kept tonal to the wash of the jeans, it keeps them versatile and can take you from chic to something more casual. See the three ways I styled them below.

I wanted to take these jeans to a more feminine route with this look here, something that is very prim. I chose to pair the jeans with a t shirt by Rag & Bone and boots by Saint Laurent. I then added a few feminine touches to the look with a coat by Scotch & Soda and a Vita Fede cuff to finish it all off.

I wanted to go for something that was a little in between with this look here. Something that still felt chic while still having a casual sense. Pairing the jeans with an old school pair of Adidas Superstars was the first thought. The cropped fit along with the details gives off a Parisian chic vibe when paired with the sneakers. As I am not the biggest fan of pairing together white shoes with a white top, I went for a black men’s t-shirt by Theory for the slouch that it’ll offer. Then to pull it all together and take it away from casual, a long tailored coat by TOPSHOP.

This is the most casual of the looks, but unlike most of the my other takes on casual, I chose a pair of Sam Edelman ballet flats as the shoe of choice. We don’t see much of them lately and I find that they play off the jeans really well. To keep that casual/Marant-feel going, I chose a slouchy sweater by TOPSHOP (similar) and a woven belt by Caputo & Co.. Then to finish the look, a heavy knit scarf by White + Warren to keep the chill away.
