The Nemesis wash by J Brand has to be one of my new favorites by the brand. Not only is it a dark grey wash that is very versatile, but they are also distressed. Those two things would have to be my favorite things right now. As these are a Summer style, I decided to do looks that will carry over from the warmer season to when the chill kicks in even harder. See the three looks that I came up with below.
This is the look that I would say works best during this time, at still the beginning of the Fall season. Just simple layers like pairing this flannel by MOTHER and a t shirt by R13 is all you need for a simple day-to-day look. Then to finish the look off Autumn staples like this Rick Owens beanie and some moccasins by Isabel Marant to keep the look feeling cooler from the usual.
This look here is one that is when it is starting to get colder, but there is still enough warmth to get away with wearing few layers. I paired the jeans with a graphic t shirt by TOPSHOP because I just love how much of a different vibe it offers to a look than a basic one. I then chose a heavy knit cardigan by River Island for it’s old timey feel. It has the look as though it was found in the closet of a grandpa, that I find appealing and always look for in sweaters like these. To keep the comfort going, I went for some Nike sneakers and a Rag & Bone hat to finish it all off and add a chic sense.
This look here is the one that would carry you on to the Winter. I just love the look of a fur coat and how it just elevates any outfit to another level. I chose this faux fur piece by Diesel because it has the oversized lengthy fit that I think fur pieces should have. I went for this hoodie by R13 to be layered underneath for the added warmth and as I think sneakers would be appropriate around this time, a pair of Chuck Taylors were the perfect choice. I then went for a pair of sunglasses by Ray-Ban to help protect the eyes from the blistering winds.
