3 Ways to Wear the 3×1 High Rise Channel Seam in Black No. 5

I became a huge fan of the 3×1 High Rise Channel Seam in Black No. 5 ever since I saw Jessica Alba wearing them. From the faded black wash to the cut, the style has become one of my new favorite high rise styles to get a sighting of. Not to mention the seam details at the inseam that adds a little something to make them stand out amongst the other brands, which is why I chose them to style 3 different ways this month. You can see the three looks below.

This look here was inspired by the Kate Moss circa 2007 time of when she used to wear cowboy boots with just about every look that she was wearing. I mean everything from pairings with leather jackets to even her smartest pieces like a blazer. I went for the latter by choosing one from TOPSHOP. A Moss look cannot be without a cool graphic tee and a cool hat, so I chose a shirt by Uniqlo and a hat by Janessa Leone. Then of course the western inspired shoes to complete the look by Ariat. The worn leather and embossing add a little more detail to the outfit that is subtle.

I always like to do a casual look, though something that can still be presentable with the help of a few luxurious pieces. Those pieces that help elevate are these Saint Laurent boots and a leather jacket by R13. They can take anything like this Diesel hoodie and Isabel Marant scarf from just being the average look to a level that will have any street style photographer snapping a shot.

These jeans and western boots seem to be the combination that I just find perfect, you can tell by the previous look. This one is no different. This time I chose a pair by Frye to style with a MiH shirt. I like the darker more autumn feel of this plaid and find that it works really well with the color of the boots. To finish the look off, a piece that I have going back to myself, a beanie (this one by Isabel Marant), and a Givenchy bag.
