My denim review this week is on the Rag & Bone The Skinny Jeans in Sonoma. These are my third pair or Rag & Bone jeans and my second pair of their skinnies. I originally saw them in Harvey Nichols a few months ago and thought they were absolutely gorgeous, so when I got them to review, I definitely wasn’t disappointed.
The fit of these is amazing! As you expect Rag & Bone skinny jeans to be, they are perfect all over. These are their cropped version so they have about a 28″ inseam and a mid rise of about 8.5 inches. Their leg opening is 8.5 inches as well so you can see they are incredibly skinny all the way down. I got these in size 27 and they do run smaller, so even though I’m generally a bigger size 27, these are quite tight. When you first see them, you think they wont fit because they look so tiny, however they stretch a huge amount to fit your body and give that skin tight appearance. I absolutely adore them! The back pockets are perfectly positioned to be flattering as well, in some cases they do give your butt a more flatter appearance, but I think that’s just because they are really tight. I’ve worn these three times already and they are already starting to mould to my body.
Now onto the Sonoma wash, this was what attracted me to the jeans in the first place as I loved the blue on them. It’s a beautiful mid to dark blue with fading down the thighs and some whiskering at the lap area. It really is beautiful in person and it pairs well with most things. I can’t get enough of it and find myself just looking at them a lot when they are on.
These have honestly become my new favourite skinny jeans at the moment. I know I tend to give a lot of fairly good reviews and list positive and negatives about them, but I can’t find any negatives about these at all. I love them so much to the point I plan on wearing them all the time due to how comfortable they are and how pretty they are. They are perfect in every way possible. They are one of the most comfortable jeans I own due to the serious amount of stretch to them and at the same time, they are one of the most flattering because of the all over skinny fit.
Unlike a lot of jeggings though that have a thinner denim fabric, these have a much more sturdier denim so they are definitely more like a jean, just very stretchy, so I find these hold me in everywhere as apposed to just covering me. This is why I love them even more! If I can recommend you a pair of classic skinny jeans that you will live in and love this year, it’s definitely these! I honestly can’t sing their praises enough and if you get a pair, you will know exactly what I’m talking about! And as you know, I’m not paid to write these reviews so this is honestly how I feel about them. Buy these online at Revolve Clothing.
