3 Pairs, 3 Looks, 1 Brand: R13

The Drop Crotch jeans are just one of the many forward thinking pairs that R13 have to offer for Spring. You may have remembered the post on the black plaid pair not too long ago, but these pants also come in a worn blue denim, as well as red plaid. As choosing just one of those pairs was hard, I decided to style each pair here.

The Black Plaid pair would have to be my favorite out of the three pairs here. The choice of plaid and the color all work seamlessly and feels fluid. With this pair I got that Yōji Yamamoto and Commes des Comme des Garçons feel that I said before, but I also get this Haider Ackermann sense a bit as well, depending on how they are styled. When paired with more streamlined and edgier pieces, they definitely take on a similar aesthetic to Ackermann. I chose to pair them with a leather blazer by a Band of Outsiders and boots by Haider (similar). Then as those pieces are very strong, I wanted to go clean with other pieces like this La Garçonne Moderne and a simple white t shirt (similar here).

As the denim pair of these has more of an easier feel than the plaids, I went for something very easy with a slight Eastern Orient feel as it is the vibe that it first gave off to me when I saw them. As blue denim is easier than a black pair, I went with a Steven Alan wrap cardigan over a more structured wrap jacket. I then chose sandals by Lanvin because the cropped fit works really well with multi-strap sandals and kept the top simple with a tank by La Garçonne Moderne. To finish off the look, I chose rings by Margiela.

This pair in Red Plaid feels the most street out of the three. They can easily be paired with flat boots, I actually think they are best worn with them, and a belt like these by Rag & Bone and Karl Lagerfeld. As they feel edgier, I went with a tougher shirt like this muscle by R13. I then chose a jacket by ACNE to pull the whole look together.
