6 Ways to Layer Your Denim

After the Polar Vortex madness, jeans are somewhat out of the question for a lot of you. I got to thinking how many times I dismiss my denim every time it starts to get a little cold, but there are so many ways to layer it for warmth without losing your favorite fabric! Here are 5 ways that some fashionable bloggers layered their denim.

Styloretic

Styloretic is from Austria so you know this girl has got the layering down! After I discovered the photo I realized it was somewhat of an old photo which makes it even better because it means it’s timeless. I love the way she belted a denim shirt/dress and made it the base of her outfit with layers around it.

Le Happy

Short overalls + tights + knee highs (might just be apart of the tights, but still a great tip) = genius. Slap a coat on this outfit and you are ready for the cold. I love how this outfit is really grunge with a soft touch of floral. It’s perfect for transitional weather as well.

The Hobbyists

I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for oversized denim vests. I love the way Peter put his over a leather jacket adding different textures and colors to his look. This is perfect for guys or girls and can keep you warm with the extra layer over the core of your body.

Fated To be Hated

Bebe is one of my favorite bloggers, her style is ever-changing but her looks are nothing less of flawless. I love the way she took a taboo in fashion (wearing ALL DENIM) and made it look AMAZING. To conquer the cold you’ll need to add a jacket and some tights, but the base if perfection.

Sensate

I’m absolutely loving the tailored look that Camille has going on here. The bow tie is so cute and really ties in the outfit. Switch out the leather jacket for a coat for cooler temps.

Natalie Off Duty

Lastly, we have Natalie from Natalie Off Duty. It’s a simple yet effective way to layer your denim and it is tying a flannel around your waist. It’s there to put on another layer if you get cold and if not, you’re giving off a grunge vibe that everyone will want to emulate.
